Shoutout to Dunkin in Cary for absolutely nailing opposite day. I ordered an everything mini bagel and got a plain bagel instead. My wife ordered cream cheese on the side, so naturally it came spread directly on the bagel. It’s nice to know our order was carefully reviewed and then completely reinvented. Thanks for keeping us on our toes!

I am a regular customer who visits this Dunkin location nearly every weekday on my way to work, I am extremely disappointed by the way I was treated this morning. I order the same thing almost every day—the $6 Meal Deal with an iced coffee (cream only). When I arrived at the drive-thru around 7:50–8:00 AM, I was informed that the store was out of tortillas. Since the Meal Deal was previously offered with a croissant and the promotion was still clearly displayed on the drive-thru menu, I politely asked if my sandwich could be made on a croissant instead. After pulling up to the window, I was told my total was over $10. When I questioned why I was being charged significantly more for what should have been the advertised Meal Deal, I was told that this location was not honoring or advertising the promotion—even though it was visibly posted on the drive-thru menu at that very moment. What happened next was even more concerning. When I asked to speak with a manager, the employee at the window looked at me and said, “Do you want your food or not?” I was shocked by the disrespect and unprofessionalism of that response. As a paying customer—and a loyal one at that—I simply wanted an explanation and the opportunity to speak with management regarding the pricing discrepancy. Instead of addressing my concerns, the employee abruptly shut the drive-thru window in my face and refused to answer my questions about speaking with a manager. I have never experienced such dismissive and rude treatment at a Dunkin location. My receipt lists the name Hector, although I cannot confirm whether that was the employee who interacted with me. Regardless, the behavior displayed this morning was unacceptable and reflects poorly on this location's customer service standards. I am not writing this review because of a pricing issue. Mistakes happen, and inventory shortages happen. I am writing because of the way I was treated when I attempted to ask a reasonable question and request assistance from management. No customer should be spoken to in that manner, especially a regular customer who supports this business consistently. I would appreciate a response from the franchise owner or store management explaining how this situation will be addressed. Customers deserve accurate information about advertised promotions and, more importantly, basic respect when concerns are raised.

Management has a problem dealing with unwanted customers. It is very often that I hear experiences from people who work here and its mentioned that certain male customers will come in often and try to converse with the female staff which they have expressed to management being very uncomfortable with because of how the men speak to them. Management has not done enough to prevent these unwanted interactions and it is a continuing problem that has been going on for more than 6 months. It’s dissapointing that more has not been done to protect the girls in our community.

I go every sat around 10am. They are always out of glazed chocolate donuts. They follow up with a double chocolate donut, but they are crunchy on bottom from being stale. They are often out of sesame seed bagels, too. Sad. They purchasing there isn't good. Obviously not checking sales when purchasing their inventory.
