The restaurant across the street closed leaving this as the only non chain restaurant in town but well worth the trip. The food is delicious the only problem is.. the serving sizes are huge. Service was personable and fast... This place has 186 reviews with 4.8 stars!! Why would you eat anywhere else?

Their sausage is the crumbly kind that had the perfect seasoning. The pizza was some of the best my husband and I have had. Service was great and the pizza came out quickly. We will definitely be returning! They also have homemade cheesecake and carrot cake. The special cheesecake for the night was chocolate covered strawberry. We got that and a slice of carrot cake to go. The waitress recommended adding a caramel drizzle to the carrot cake. Both desserts were 5/5 stars! They also deliver to nearby campgrounds at lake Carlyle.

We had the fried portobello mushrooms to start, which were delicious. Then our party had 2 pizzas. The first was the Dough Boy special which was perfect! It had a slightly sweet sauce but not too sweet. The second was a Chicken and mushroom alfredo pan pizza, special ordered. It was also very good! We ate and sat visiting for quite a while and enjoyed the pizza and company. I would highly recommend Dough Boys for your pizza night!
