  Stumbled upon this local mom and pop Carribean spot while visiting Chicago. Ordered the Jerk and Stew chicken dinners. Healthy sized portions of each. The rice with the Jerk meal was drowned in jerk gravy. The jerk although smokey, was missing the spiciness/heat, but came with jerk sauce. Loved the flavor and number of chicken pieces with the Stew meal. Everything was 'good tasting'. A-ok in-n-out spot for the locals and if your craving Carrib food or passing through. Good flavor. Not enough space to sit and eat. Grab it and go.

  I've tried jerk chicken from many different restaurants throughout the Chicago area, and this place easily ranks among my favorites. The seasoning is rich, flavorful, and has just the right amount of heat without overpowering the chicken. Every bite was juicy, tender, and cooked perfectly. You can tell the food is prepared with care and attention to quality. This restaurant is mainly set up for takeout, which worked perfectly for me. I decided to bring my meal all the way back home to Michigan so my wife could try it too. It was her very first time eating authentic Jamaican jerk chicken, and she was genuinely impressed. She loved the combination of smoky, spicy, and savory flavors and kept talking about how delicious it was. It's always nice when a restaurant makes such a great first impression on someone trying a cuisine for the first time. The ordering process was simple, and the staff was friendly from the moment I walked in. My food was ready in about five to ten minutes, which is a very reasonable wait considering everything was made fresh. The aroma alone while waiting made me even more excited to eat. Once I opened the container, the presentation looked just as good as the smell. The portions were generous and definitely worth the price. The chicken was packed with flavor from the first bite to the last. The seasoning soaked into the meat instead of just sitting on the outside. I also appreciated that the chicken wasn't dry at all. The spice level was balanced and enjoyable without being overwhelming. The sides complemented the meal really well and completed the overall experience. Everything tasted fresh and homemade. The restaurant itself was clean and organized. Even though it's primarily a takeout spot, the service felt welcoming and efficient. The staff answered questions politely and made the ordering process easy. It's clear they take pride in the food they serve. I can understand why so many people recommend this place. It's the kind of restaurant you'll gladly drive a little farther to visit again. Finding truly great jerk chicken isn't always easy, but this restaurant definitely delivers. I was impressed with both the quality of the ingredients and the consistency of the meal. Every part of the order met or exceeded my expectations. I'll definitely stop here again the next time I'm in the Chicago area. I also plan to recommend it to friends and family who enjoy Jamaican cuisine. If you're looking for bold flavors, generous portions, and friendly service, this place is absolutely worth trying.
