- JLJ LewisJun 15, 20264.0Google needs to permit half and quarter star ratings for restaurants like Mancino's. This restaurant is a 4.75 out of 5. There is no other restaurant in Northern Illinois that does a grinder better. The bread is wonderful, and the heating/toasting process gives the rest of the ingredients a great flavor. I order the Roast Beef Combo, no lettuce. There are many other options, but I haven't been able to get to them for more than 30 years. I'm sure they are good too. The service is average. That isn't meant as a criticism or complaint. It is what one expects when going to a faster food place. This store is usually busy. Off peak times are when I like to go.
