  Cashier MARY is rude, ridiculously slow and should not be working in a forward customer service job I will not be going to this jewel again she needs to be reprimanded

  I am unsure why bad attitudes and poor customer service is so high at the store, specifically the cashier Lorie who has never been in a good mood the several years I have been forced to interact with her. Always having a tone, making demands of customers, showing nothing but annoyance at having to even do her job. I have watched her ignore customers who try to interact with her in a friendly manner (they must be newer and not know that the best policy with Lorie is to avoid looking at her and just say "ok" to whatever rude comments she decides to make that day.) Self checkout is closed in the morning so if you want to do an early shop your option for checkout is Lorie or one of the other old women who also have bad attitudes. They need serious rehiring and/or retraining because their employees do not know how to have even basic, polite small talk. The managers will reply to reviews and say they are looking into things, but considering there are YEARS of reviews describing the poor service, it is obvious they do not care. I come here because it is close by and that is it at this point - it is more expensive than any other grocery store in the area and has terrible employees. At a certain point I will just have to accept defeat and drive farther.

  I would have given this review over the phone but not one employee that answered could get me to the right person. Moving on… Following a recent health diagnosis, I’ve used your drive up program and not for a minute do I miss shopping. The kids (sorry if they are older but they seem young) that have delivered my groceries are always courteous and thoughtful. Last week, it was pouring rain and 2 (that I saw) of your associates were hustling. I sent my husband in for one more item I had forgotten and asked him to pass on the feedback at front counter. The woman working there, VERY RUDE. My husband stated “I just want you to know the wonderful experience we have had with your drive up ordering program and she replied - “oh, happy to hear they are actually doing their job”. This is sad. We’ve been using this program for over 6 months and always had a great experience. Sure, sometimes they run over, however, they communicate. I hope who ever this woman is, surely isn’t managing a team, because people like her are culture killers and gives a bad taste in a youngsters early stages in the work world. Sorry for the novel, but I wanted you to know how much we appreciate your team as it has helped me while being recently disabled. Thank you
