  While three younger workers moseyed around the restaurant during non-peak hours, the line of people grew from about 3 to 9 people long, with no one getting served. Once I did get helped, the guy was actually quite helpful in providing descriptions and recommendations for my first time. Place was a bit messy, with the drink station a complete debacle. Food was quite delicious and I would go back. With some better leadership from management, this place could thrive.

  This is the first review I’ve ever written for any restaurant, but I feel compelled for the owners sake. We come to Cava often and have always had a great experience, but tonight we arrived at 8:05 p.m. and the website and door both say they are open until 10 p.m. They were already cleaning up the restaurant and they only had chicken and salmon available. They even had the fountain machine containers on the counter next to the cashier, so they used a ladle to scoop and fill our cups. They even asked us not to use the restroom because they already cleaned them for the night? After saying we just wanted to wash our hands they allowed my daughters to use them. At least we got our food because they turned away multiple families who decided to just walk over the Chipotle.

  Rarely do I leave a review like this. Just brought home a bowl from here and first bite into the bowl was the crunchiest brown rice my wife and I have ever had. Now we are gonna have to drive back to demand a refund. Ridiculous. Called costumer support - it’s automated. Another to contact someone quickly - phone just kept ringing. Yeah don’t recommend.

  My husband and I visited the Cava in Bolingbrook for the first time on a Sunday afternoon, and it was extremely busy. Only one of the two employees on staff was working the register, and a steady stream of takeout orders kept things backed up. Unfortunately, they were out of falafel, which was disappointing and really ? At noon? since that’s typically what my husband orders. He ended up trying the salmon instead and said it was pretty good. Except he had the brown rice and said it was “crunchy”?! I had the grilled chicken bowl, which I enjoyed. The harissa pita chips were delicious!! No one at this location helped us when I said we were new! The food was solid, but the dining area needed attention — tables weren’t cleared and the lobby floor was dirty. We’ll definitely order from Cava again, just not this location.

  I know there can be bad days, but my experience here tonight was horrible. There’s six people behind the counter and I’m waiting there and there’ is only one person in front of me and there’s this huge dilemma because the regular chicken has spicy chicken in the container…in the meantime, I’m waiting. The protein section is a hot mess with food all over the place. There’s no one in the store as far as customers go. I finally get served, get to the protein section and not only did they not have the lady’s chicken in front of me there’s no falafel. She suggested if I don’t eat meat I get the veggies. There’s legit a handful of veggies in the container they serve from that look like they’ve been sitting out for three weeks - no thank you. That’s 15 minutes of my life I’m never gonna get back.
