  Overall, we have had good experiences with this location compared to the other location in town. Everything feels really organized with being able to find things in the store. There are good discounts and plenty of options! The only reason for the lower rating is the staff are either really great or very poor. Recently, I have noticed the workers being in their phones in the checkout area which looks really bad to customers. We had an experience that the individual monitoring self check out wasn’t even paying attention since three people were waiting for them. During that moment, other staff were just sitting on the bench talking about other things rather than helping the customers. As a customer, the employees shouldn’t be on their phones in the checkout area. It appears that they don’t care about helping customers.

  Apparently dogs are allowed in the store. The mutt had to be 70lbs and had a some fake "service dog" harnesses. Disgusting!

  The pharmacy at this store is incredible. I've done the Walmart, Walgreens, cvs, Meijer and then finally jewel osco. The other pharmacies would have extremely long wait times and delay in filing medication. The female pharmacist that was working today and basically any other time I've been in there is amazing. She actually takes the time to see if you can get a better deal with a coupon. Rather than the other pharmacies just denying refills for reasons I don't know. She (pharmacist at osco) just came and talked to me about what was going on with the dose changing. I told her and she said that makes sense and got it done for me. They are fast, friendly, unlike any other pharmacy I've ever had to use. It seems she's there by herself as the pharmacist every day and you can see her just running back and forth and treating people with kindness and respect. Not like your a bother because you need to pick up your rx like those other chain pharmacies. Highly recommend and I believe the female pharmacist probably in her 30s and the red headed man with a beard deserve a raise. Treat them right osco. You've got some incredible staff and I would do anything you can to keep them and support them to make their life easier. Seems like they should have more staff so I don't always seem the same employees working so hard. Anyway after that long winded review Google asked me for, 10 stars

  After almost 20 years of shopping at this Jewel-Osco which I would have rated neutral-positive, I had an experience today that sours my desire to shop there. My daughter and I stopped to pick up a few groceries and were browsing the cars in the Hot Wheels display when we were approached by an employee named S**** who said to us gruffly and unsolicited, "You better leave that as good as you found it. You people come in here and leave everything a mess and I get tired of having to clean it up." I asked, "Excuse me?" He then informed me that he holds back all of the special random Treasure Hunt cars and doesn't put them out for sale because of the habits of untidy customers: "If you people are gonna make a mess, nobody gets Treasure Hunts." Had it remained a cranky comment about not making mess, I might have let it slide and assumed the guy had a bad day. It was the petty assertion that he was personally punishing all customers because of the actions of a few that prompted me to speak to the store manager. I have already contacted Mattel with a retailer complaint.
