  The food is great, hot and fresh in less time than you'd expect. We only got checked on a single time for drinks despite the store being relatively slow, but the staff was friendly and welcoming otherwise. Locally owned, family ran franchise, so it's worth the extra couple dollars to skip the national fast food spots to come here.

  The salsa was SO hot! 🥵 The food was good, it's been the best Mexican restaurant we've tried in the Peoria/Bloomington area when we've visited for volleyball! We would definitely come back!!

  We don’t live nearby but found this restaurant while searching for Mexican food and decided to try it. Unfortunately, the experience was awful. Our waiter seemed rushed from the start. After our meal, we were given a $307 bill that clearly wasn’t ours. When we looked it over, we realized another table’s charges had been added. When we brought it up, staff insisted we had agreed to pay for the other table..which was completely untrue. We had no interaction with them until they came over afterward saying thank you and mentioning something about an Instagram follow, which made no sense. After going back and forth with the manager and getting nowhere, I insisted on calling the police. Suddenly, several men from that table came back in, saying the restaurant had contacted them to return and pay their bill which raises serious concerns about how they were reached so quickly. The entire situation felt very suspicious and was handled terribly. We will not be back.
