  This is really just to put a shout out to the lovely ladies that worked the drive thru last week Monday. Such good service. Orders perfect, just pleasant to talk to. Efficient. Excellent work!!

  Haven't ordered from Portillos in a long while. Quality at this location has been disappointing last few visits: hotdogs, ribs and fries just haven't been as good as they used to be. The Italian beef and sausage has yet to disapppoint. Tonight I felt like a vanilla shake and a piece of chocolate cake. Unfortunately for $10, i got vanilla flavored ice, with a deconstructed cake. The shake was horrible...literally feels like vanilla flavored ice crystals...no creaminess, no milk. The cake was all separated....the layers and the frosting all kind of just floating separately in the plate they box it in. Taste and moisture hasn't changed...very rich chocolate, moist and spongy cake. Glad that hasn't changed. I think I'm done with Portillos going forward; its never going to be as good as it used to be.

  I normally NEVER take the time to write a review BUT I was very disappointed with the service at this Portillo's location. The counter was being run by a bunch of teenagers who seemed completely uninterested, and after waiting over 10 minutes at the drive-thru window, I received fries that were not just stale — they were ICE cold in the middle. Not sure if they were undercooked or just have been sitting out THAT long. I ordered a large fry and was given a medium. Cold fries sitting that long honestly made me question if they were even safe to eat. I had to microwave them just to make them edible, and even then they ended up in the trash. Save yourself the disappointment and drive to the Portillo's location instead.   I always go to the Bloomingdale location and it's kept clean, good food and friendly staff. However, on my recent visit I encountered Anthony at the order counter and he was nice, fun and very courteous, he raised the bar for fast food service and social etiquette standards. Hats off to Anthony what a wonderful young man. I hope management takes time to thank him for being a great representation for the Portello brand. He not only greeted, he up sold me, made me laugh, reminded me of my perk rewards and proceeded to give the same level of service to the next person behind me who happened to be my family member. I got the impression he enjoyed his job and meeting people. Thanks for hiring Anthony he needs a bonus! 👍 P. S. We both had beef sandwiches with fries and a shake mine was delicious my cousin though the beef was a bit dry and her beef to pepper ratio was off, too many peppers could have been a bit more beef. The shake was delicious 😋

  Absolutely top-tier experience! 🔥 Everything here feels next level, but the real stars are their Chicago-style item and the Maxwell — they’ve truly mastered both 🙌🌭 The flavors are невероятно rich, perfectly balanced, and just hit exactly how they should 🤤✨ Every bite feels like pure comfort food done right. Honestly, if you’re a fan of these classics, you’re going to feel like you’ve found a little piece of heaven 😇💯 Definitely a spot worth coming back to again and again!
