lives up to the hype! The food was delicious, the service was quick, and the restaurant had a great atmosphere. The chocolate shake was the highlight of my visit—rich, creamy, and absolutely amazing. I’ll definitely be back.

One of my least favorite locations. Big guy in the drive through is nice and chatty. However, the food here is always hit or miss. If you're gonna charge me those prices I expect the same good experience every time. I will no longer even eat the hot dogs here, they are rubbery. Got a chopped salad tonight and I had to throw one third of it away because it was rotten lettuce and tomatoes. Sometimes they charge me for extra dressing but forget to give it to me. The rotten salad tonight was my last straw. We spent @$60 on mediocre food and rotten vegetables. I took vids of the salad that I will be sending to management. Charge me $14 for a rotten salad. Smh. This place is so over hyped. Prices go up and quality continuously goes down.

Just as most portillos, food was great. This particular theme is a street side seating inspiration. The kiosks for ordering were convenient and the food came quicker than expected and correct. Food pricing is abhorrent like everywhere else in the Chicago land area but what are ya gonna do?

I have been a Portillo’s fan all my life. When my wife and I moved out of Illinois to Florida in 2012 I really craved Chicago foods. When Portillo’s opened in Brandon Florida, my wife and I would drive 50 plus miles one way to get our fix. Visiting our home town area of Bloomingdale Illinois the week on 07/04/26 through 07/11/26 we made a stop at the Bloomingdale location. The cashier Madison argued with me about what she said I ordered and this went back and forth until I mentioned that I was the customer and I know what I said. She then sarcastically said I need to get a manager to fix this. I have been in the retail business for over 40 plus years managing Auto Parts Stores & Repair Shops and has always instilled in my employees that the customers are the ones that pay their bills. They Are The Boss! I really am disappointed in how little this young lady understands this. Not a care in the world about how she responds to your guests. If I could give no stars for the service from this location I would. Please address this issue with not only the manager of this location but with everyone that works for your company. Dick Portillo did not build this brand up with people like Madison…..

I used to come here so much as a kid all the way till I was 18 and my whole family loved it. Then after I left I heard my dad say the burgers got smaller and dont fill me up and some workers were rude. I just didnt believe him. Fast forward 8 years and im back to eat here and notice that the prices are alot higher which im not complaining about its just due to inflation and terrible people in office. I had gotten a cheeseburger and Milkshake that was $14.17 total. The cheeseburger was definitely smaller and was close to the good taste I was used to but definitely wasnt bad. Just ok. The milkshake was like it was halfway blended and gave it to me anyways. I had clumps in it and had to literally break it apart. Also why isnt there bigger straws for the milkshakes it would just make sense. So overall not excited anymore to go back. Its sad because I loved this place
