  The people here are great, one of the be portillos in the are, I loved it, food was very consistent.

  2 complaints, food is mostly great , but notice as of the last few times using drive through, got my 2 hot dogs , went to go park on the Tesla lot to enjoy my lunch , my hotdogs , perfect , but again no napkins on the bag, had th drive home to eat them . Just to messy with out napkins, My other concern, the Italian Beef . I have been eating them for 45 years , they were always the best in business, now The Beef has a very greasy taste , in the last few years , and the beef has became a fraction of what used to go in the bun, I have finally stoped ordering the beef , Bueno is much better now.

  I have always loved coming to this location but I came in today for a special request to see if I could get a chocolate cake without the outside frosting. It was for Mothers Day and my mom has a medical condition that we have to try and minimize sugar. Portillos is her favorite and we always get it and scrape off the outside frosting. I thought perhaps they frost their own cakes and would be able to sell me one without frosting on the outside. I understand the middle frosting between the layers wouldn’t be perhaps possible but I thought it wouldn’t hurt to ask. The cashier up front was very kind and guided me to speak with someone by the name of Vanessa. I was completely taken back by the response considering she seemed to be some type of lead or supervisor. She kept shrugging her shoulders at us and saying she didn’t know if it was possible and that she would have to talk to her general manager. I told her it was no problem and then she said she’d charge me full price. I told her it was no problem at all. I wasnt looking for her to discount it at all. I said I would pay full price I didn’t mind at all. She then shrugged her shoulders and rolled her eyes and had a complete attitude. I told her to forget about it and she just said ok. An honest effort would have been so appreciated. It was a simple question and the fact that she acted as if I was asking a very complex question that would require a lot of effort along with her insolence attitude made the overall experience negative.

  I love Portillo’s but eating in the restaurant is beyond irritating. They announce every counter order number over the loud speakers at least twice and God forbid that person isn’t right there because there will be another 2 or 3 announcements until they come to the pick up counter. The Batavia restaurant has the music volume turned down to nothing and the announcements are at max volume so you can’t even talk. I’M GOING TO SCREAM THIS SO YOU CAN HEAR ME PLEASE TURN DOWN THE ANNOUNCEMENTS TO A REASONABLE LEVEL
