  During one of my recent visits to the Jewel-Osco in Bartlett, Illinois, I was using the self-checkout. While I was checking out, two employees stopped what they were doing and positioned themselves around me. One employee stood a few feet beside me, while the other stood a few feet behind me. I felt singled out and watched while I was simply trying to complete my purchase. This was especially concerning because I have experienced similar behavior at this store on other occasions. I have also experienced employees ignoring me when I ask for assistance. Because these incidents have happened repeatedly, I feel that I am being treated differently and may be experiencing racial profiling. I am asking Jewel-Osco to investigate this incident, including reviewing the self-checkout surveillance footage from the date and approximate time of my visit. I am requesting that this complaint be escalated to corporate management and that I receive a response regarding the investigation.

  Lisa from the flower department has helped me multiple times pick out flowers and teach me about them! As well as she made the bouquet of flowers and make them look amazing!

  The staff is friendly and the products are great but the prices are expensive it's less you are able to get them on sale. The problem is the for you app is the wonkiest program ever created. No one wants to use it and they count on that. We just stood at checkout for over 10 minutes to try to get avocados that were clearly marked with a giant sign .99 each And they were trying to charge us $1.99 each and several other products also did not show up in the app. It's embarrassing standing there it makes you feel like you're sone entitled person but really you're just trying to get the advertised price that is clearly marked on the giant sign the first one you read when you walk in the store. It's not about the money it's about the principal. They do this to take advantage of the elderly and people that will just agree so they can save themselves some embarrassment. It's Jewel-Osco and the programmers that design this For U app that should be embarrassed of themselves. Give the people the price that's marked on the products you shouldn't have to go through an unreliable app. They even suggested we go to the service counter and they suspend our order where they could then correct it at the desk because no one was available to come and help us. The staff was even complaining about the app and how annoying it is. How come their corporate cannot understand that all this is doing is giving people an unpleasant shopping experience and they will just go elsewhere where they don't have to haggle register for grocery prices?
