  I’ve been going to this Jewel Osco for 5 years. I’ve seen Jewel is a nice convenient store as it’s open for 18 hours. It’s a grocery not convenient but it’s convenient for timing. I kind-of like it. It’s clean it has a wide selection of bakery items. But it gets busy over there and they trick us by making not tasting good stuff cheep and the others expensive. Yes Jewel is expensive for a flowers at $24.99 about 50+ dollars adding tax if you buy double. Milk is like 3.29 saw a milk jug for $11. Otherwise it’s in a location, busy, clean, on the expensive side. Like 5 hot wheels for $11.99 at target $5.64.

  The staff is friendly and the products are great but the prices are expensive it's less you are able to get them on sale. The problem is the for you app is the wonkiest program ever created. No one wants to use it and they count on that. We just stood at checkout for over 10 minutes to try to get avocados that were clearly marked with a giant sign .99 each And they were trying to charge us $1.99 each and several other products also did not show up in the app. It's embarrassing standing there it makes you feel like you're sone entitled person but really you're just trying to get the advertised price that is clearly marked on the giant sign the first one you read when you walk in the store. It's not about the money it's about the principal. They do this to take advantage of the elderly and people that will just agree so they can save themselves some embarrassment. It's Jewel-Osco and the programmers that design this For U app that should be embarrassed of themselves. Give the people the price that's marked on the products you shouldn't have to go through an unreliable app. They even suggested we go to the service counter and they suspend our order where they could then correct it at the desk because no one was available to come and help us. The staff was even complaining about the app and how annoying it is. How come their corporate cannot understand that all this is doing is giving people an unpleasant shopping experience and they will just go elsewhere where they don't have to haggle register for grocery prices?

  I dont leave reviews often, but this store is a joke... Bad old meat repacked and sold with different date. Not once, not twice. Multiple times. No alcohol sell @ 10:30pm on Thursday? Really? Not even 1 register open after 10pm, only self service. But there are multiple employees walking & talking around the store. 80% of refrigerators were off , there was a thunderstorm, but wasn't even bad. They should have generator or something for refrigerators

  5 Stars to the Deli staff. Yesterday I went in to shop for prosciutto and was able to have a delightful conversation with the gentleman working the deli counter. We had a discussion about the weather, and life in general while he carefully handled my request. It was nice and refreshing to see that there are still people who genuinely care about their customer interactions and offer quality service.

  I love this Jewel! I have had wonderful experiences in every department. Sherry in produce is the best, order your fruit and veggie trays from here! And the bakery has the best tasting cakes, we always get so many compliments.
