  My daughter and I went to buy a flower arrangement for her friend. The lady at the counter was so professional and friendly. I moved from Illinois to a state that doesn't have Jewels and miss having one there.

  I have been shopping at this Jewel/Osco since it opened. As a matter of fact, it was my son's first job. I have never had an issue until today with a very rude cashier, Analissa. She had an attitude from the get go. I went in to get a few bouquet of flowers for Mother's Day and from the beginning everyone had an attitude. First, it was the lady rearranging by the flowers. Kept throwing things and mumbling things. Then we get to the register and the cashier Analissa starts ringing up my flowers and I tell her that those are mine, not the lady's in front and her response was, Well why didn't you say something when you saw me ringing them up, I said, that's not a very nice thing to say and I told you. She just kept back talking to me and throwing my flowers, I asked her to please not throw my flowers and she responded, I'm not. I apologized to the nice lady in front of me that was just waiting patiently to pay, so I told the lady, I will pay for your plant, you go and have a nice Mother's Day. At first she said, oh no but I insisted and she thanked me and left. The cashier said, I already to them off, I responded, well put them back on. By then, I was furious. I gave my son my card, asked him to pay and I left to find a manager. I told the manager that I understood it was a very busy day but that Analissa was very rude. All he said was, I will talk to her and we all know what that means. When my son and I were walking out, he tells me that she threw the receipt on the counter, did not hand it to him. He asked her to please give him the receipt and she said she was not going to give it to him and that he can leave. He said, I'm not moving until you hand me the receipt. The customer service here, I did not realize how bad it has gotten until today. They for sure lost my business after so many years. I'd rather go to Walmart down the street, where they are always pleasant and helpful, no matter what. They even walk with you when you are looking for something. I know that losing my business will not hurt them but I will spread the word to my friends and family
