  Today I had a very disappointing experience at this Jewel-Osco. My daughter politely approached the customer service desk to ask where she could find an item. Instead of receiving the help she needed, she was met with a rude, dismissive, and disrespectful attitude from an older employee. What was especially upsetting was that the interaction left a disgusting taste in my mouth and ruined my entire day. No customer especially a young person who asks a simple question respectfully should ever leave feeling disrespected or unwelcome. Customer service should be built on kindness, patience, and respect for everyone.

  I am very displeased with the customer service at this Jewel-Osco location. I went to the customer service desk to ask a simple question, and before I could even get the words “Excuse me” out of my mouth, the older woman working there responded with immediate rudeness and hostility. I literally had just approached the desk and said “Excuse me” in an attempt to ask a question. Instead of allowing me to speak, she practically barked at me to leave her and her coworker alone. I found her behavior completely unprofessional and disrespectful. Not a polite tone or word came out of her mouth, she spoke to me as if I was a child that she had scold rather than a paying customer. What made it even more disappointing was that my younger sister and cousin were with me and witnessed the entire interaction. I have already told friends and family who live in the area about this experience, and we will not be returning to this Jewel. Customers should be able to approach the service desk with a simple question without being met with hostility, rudeness, or assumptions. Very disappointing. And I have noticed that a handful of reviews mention a rude older woman, if anyone from Jewl-Osco management sees this I suggest having a good talk with your staff about customer service.

  Horrible employee at customer service. Was extremely rude when my sister politely requested help. It put a horrible taste in my mouth. I will never purchase items from here again. I will be telling everyone about this terrible experience. Very disappointing.

  I dont think these folks know how to take inventory. Always out of stock on almost everything.

  Yesterday was my LAST time shopping at this Jewel. They DO NOT honor their sales, the Jewel app sales, the UDeals, and any time we've had a delivery it always comes with spoiled fruits and veggies, as if they need to pawn it off to online orders because people shopping in the store will not grab them. We spend over $200/week here and I am extremely happy to spend that elsewhere.
