Food- I didn't order food, but, got 2 cinnamon toast crunch cones, and they were so good Service- I see reviews on here about the rude service, I got the complete total opposite, they were super friendly and welcoming, they showed me beautiful smiles that can light up the darkest of rooms, I would definitely come back to this location again, thank you so much. Atmosphere- it's carry out only, but, that's ok

Glad to see they’re back open! Always have quality service and ice cream! The owner will be happy to know the medium ice cream my little daughter ordered, pretty sure he gave her a large though, was eaten in its entirety!

I visited the Alsip Dairy Queen and unfortunately, the customer service was terrible. It was my first time taking my kids to Dairy Queen, and we were all excited to finally try it. However, the moment we walked in, the atmosphere felt negative. As we approached the counter, the employee immediately raised her voice at us about placing an order, even though we were already at the register and there was no one waiting behind us. While ordering, my daughter asked a simple question about one of the frozen desserts because she has allergies and wanted to make sure it was safe for her. Instead of helping, the employee looked at her as if she was asking a stupid question and simply repeated the name of the dessert rather than explaining what was in it. As a parent, that was very disappointing and unprofessional. Throughout the entire interaction, the employee rolled her eyes, had an attitude, and made us feel unwelcome. Customer service should be friendly and respectful, especially when families and first-time customers are asking reasonable questions. I did not get the employee's name, but she was an older white female working the counter. Because of this experience, I would not return to this location and would not recommend it to others. 1/5 stars. Terrible customer service.

Me and my son went here. And I was tripping when they shook and handed him his blizzard upside down. I told the guy. Why don't you stop that! Just give him that. I was slightly irritated by them laughing at me. So next it was my turn. And the young lady did the same exact thing to me. I said I don't know what it is with you people! But don't play with my food! Why do you have to dump my ice cream upside down? The young lady replied. I have to make sure it's good? I said it's not going to be good if it falls out of the cup! My son and the guy And the girl were now all laughing at me. I was now extra irritated. I took my ice cream and said thank you. But I did not smile. We were walking to the door and my son said Mom. That's just how they do it at dairy Queen. It's a thing. They need to make sure it's extra thick. If they dump it upside down everything should stay in the cup. I said oh really? So I just got frustrated for no reason? He said yes Mom 🤣🤣🤣🤣 We were not quite out the door yet. We had started eating our ice cream. And I looked at the three workers behind the counter and I smiled and said thank you. I'm sorry I didn't know. regardless, that was a yummy large Oreo blizzard with Reese's cups added in. He got strawberry shortcake blizzard. We both thoroughly enjoyed. I was so full afterwards. Since then I have went here many times by myself. Delicious! A nice location to either sit down and enjoy or carry out. To enjoy. Regardless you're going to enjoy 😋
