We took our family of four here for a late lunch. I am pretty on the fence about the experience. We started with the garlic cheese bread that arrived quite crispy and burnt but was replaced by one that was quite tasty. The minestrone soup was delicious. The small Cheese Pizza was well received by the littlest child, but for an adult palette was pretty bland. My husband ordered the cannelloni stuffed with some sort of magic- quite tasty. Our daughter gotta build your own pasta that just really wasn't very good. I'm hopeful that it might reheat okay -but we will see. I ordered the chicken cutlet that comes with spaghetti. Our server brought the chicken out. Asked me to cut into it, and we both determined that it was undercooked. She sent it back. When it returned it was inedible. I'm sure if the chicken was bad or still undercooked. Either way, the taste was completely off. That dish was comped, I believe. My husband and I had been here when they first opened years and years ago, and we had ordered calzones that were fabulous. I don't know if I would equate this with fine dining by any stretch of the imagination. At best most of the prices were higher than the quality of the food. The restaurant was clean, but empty. Our server was friendly and attentive. Unsure if we will ever return.

Called early in the day to reserve a table for 8 to celebrate my Mother's Birthday. Pete, the owner, answered the phone and was friendly and happy to accommodate us. The food was excellent, the server was attentive and knowledgable, and we had a great evening celebrating with family. They brought out a complimentary Tiramisu for my Mother in honor of her special day and she thoroughly enjoyed it. We will definitely be back!

This is a hidden gem! We had a lovely meal. We tried the lasagna and half spaghetti/half ravioli with meat sauce. We also ordered the garlic bread. The service was friendly. Our meal was delicious. We will definitely be back.

We finally made it to Bit of Italy after wanting to try it for years, and it was well worth the wait! My sister was visiting from out of town, so my husband and I decided this was the perfect opportunity. The moment we walked through the door, we were greeted by the wonderful aroma of garlic and authentic Italian spices—an inviting welcome that set the tone for a great meal. My sister and I both ordered the shrimp scampi, and it was absolutely delicious. The portions were so generous that we each had enough left over for lunch the next day (minus the shrimp, of course!). My husband ordered the clam linguini with red sauce, and he thoroughly enjoyed it. We also started with the minestrone soup, which my husband said reminded him of the homemade Italian meals he enjoyed growing up around Italian families in Pennsylvania. One of the highlights of our visit was learning that our waitress is the daughter of the owner and chef. She shared that the restaurant's rent has recently increased significantly, leaving the future of this longtime family business uncertain. Hearing that made us appreciate even more the dedication this family has shown to serving delicious Sicilian-inspired food for generations. If you've never been to Bit of Italy, now is the time to go. Support this wonderful local family restaurant while enjoying authentic, flavorful Italian food and generous portions. They'll appreciate your business—and your tummy will thank you! PS don’t forget to try their delicious dessert.

I LOVE Italian food, and I had wanted to try this place for a few months after realizing it’s location.. However this place unfortunately is the WORST Italian food I’ve ever had in my life!!!! I ordered the veal cutlet parmigiana and not only could you taste that it is frozen meat, it looked like two frozen hamburger patties you buy at the store!! They were extremely overcooked and the cheese on top was cemented onto the breading! The “cutlets” were so overcooked and hard it was impossible to cut with the fork alone. The sauce was edible, the salad tasted like it was bagged lettuce. My boyfriend ordered the shrimp scampi and said it was extremely bland, all I could taste was the wine in the sauce, it was a gigantic portion but it was more of a shrimp scampi soup! The bread and beer and can of Dr Pepper were the best things we had for lunch at this establishment! I’m sorry but I will never return to eat at this “ Italian restaurant “.
