I accidentally went to the wrong checkout area after seeing the weighing station next to the salad bar marked “closed,” and when I asked for help, the employee working at the sandwich station who was wearing a headband and glasses, spoke to me in a very condescending and dismissive tone instead of kindly explaining where I needed to go. I understand stores can get busy, but kindness and patience toward customers really matters, especially when someone is just confused and trying to figure things out.

We went over to the Douglas stuffed animals and the gifts department lady Lisa had her cart in front of it which is fine. My daughter was excited and said to her I'm getting one of these. She said very snarky back to her okay? My daughter looked at me like she did something wrong. Then we went to floral to see if they could tell us a price on something and the lady there was irritated that we asked and told us to go to guest services. Guess what it was closed. We went to the self checkout cashier and she even seemed annoyed we asked for a price check as it didn't have a sticker on it. My daughter said I don't want to back to that Albertsons. That's coming from an 8 year old. What happened to being kind and customer service?
