  We purchased some shrimp (cooked 31-40 count large) from the seafood counter on 8/24. Opened it up today to eat (8/26) and it was bad. Called the store to explain the issue and get a refund. We were told since the shrimp had a sell by date of 8/25 that no refunds are eligible. I cannot believe this is the standard operating procedure. Is the $7.47 we paid for it going to break the bank, no. This is more of the point of Albertsons standing behind their product. Why are they selling products that have a 24 hour shelf life? Unless recourse is made (at this time it is more of the point then the money) you will lose a lifetime customer over $7.47. There are many other choices in the area that I'm willing to bet will stand behind their product. This was the Marketplace location, their flagship store treating customers this way.

  Tell the pizza gal her blackberry pizza was the best pizza I’ve had!! Amazing! I’ll be back for more unusual pizza. Also it’s very clean and everyone is so friendly.

  I love this store. Bring it to Florida. Publix at Innovation Springs will have to step up their game. This store has everything. Its clean. Its well stocked. The staff is friendly. Lots of variety. I would move here to be close to this store.

  I just arrived home and called the store to compliment the service I received from Isaiah. I rarely go to this store as I am from Nampa. I went in browsing and he helped me find exactly what I needed, twice. I appreciate his knowledge as I was looking for something very particular. I was also impressed by his professionalism. I hope I come across him again on my next visit.

  First, I want to start by saying I absolutely love this store. It’s beautiful. I love the selection. It feels like a treat to go spend time there! I’m also a fan of the bar and music bingo! Where I think this store can use some help is the fish counter! I often go in and smell the fish from the front of the store which we all know means it is not fresh! At least three times I have picked up fish where it has been bad. The latest time was last weekend, we specifically asked the man at the counter what was fresh and he was unable to answer and sold us salmon that was sour and old! We purchased a large fillet that was cut from a huge piece which means many people received Rotten salmon! When we got home and cooked it, absolutely inedible 🤮 . The store is nearly an hour round-trip from our location in Eagle while I know the store would take back the fish for a refund but for an hour round-trip not to mention the time I had wasted cooking the fish and the fact that we didn’t have dinner that night, huge inconvenience frankly, I feel like I should be paid for my time on top of the refund for the fish. Its a fair question to ask at the fish counter what is fresh? When did you get it in? Can your employees answer these questions? Can you have it notated so they don’t sell us bad fish and we aren’t disappointed and putting our health at risk by eating rotten fish? You are a big chain. You should be able to figure this out. Thanks for reviewing, hoping to see some improvement!
