    I am honestly extremely disappointed and taken aback by the level of customer service I experienced at this location. I frequent this Tropical Smoothie Cafe nearly every day and have always considered myself a loyal customer, which made this experience especially frustrating. This evening, I placed an order for pickup at approximately 8:45 p.m., about 15 minutes before closing. Unfortunately, I was running slightly behind and arrived at the restaurant right at closing at 9:00 p.m. As I pulled up to the drive-thru window, it turned 9:01 p.m. I could clearly see two employees inside who were still cleaning and completing closing duties. However, when they saw me pull up, it looked like both employees went to the back of the restaurant and hid in the back room so they did not have to acknowledge me. After waiting for a moment, I drove back around to the window and could see the employees washing dishes in the back. One of them eventually made eye contact with me and came to the window. I simply explained that I was there to pick up my order. My smoothie was already prepared and sitting on the counter, ready to be handed out. Instead of simply acknowledging the situation and providing the order I had already paid for, the employees began lecturing me that they were not required to hand out food or drinks after 9:00 p.m. I was then told that I had arrived at 9:02 p.m., despite the fact that they had clearly seen me pull up shortly after 9:00 and had chosen not to acknowledge me. I completely understand that businesses have operating hours and that employees have procedures to follow when closing. However, what I find most disappointing is not simply the issue of arriving at closing time—it is the complete lack of courtesy, communication, and respect shown throughout the interaction. The order was already made and sitting directly behind the employees. Rather than acknowledging me, communicating professionally, or simply handing me the drink that was ready to go, they chose to avoid me and then lecture me about the closing time. As someone who spends money at this location almost every single day, I was genuinely surprised by how inconvenient and unwelcome I was made to feel. A customer should not suddenly be treated as though they are an inconvenience—or undeserving of basic courtesy and respect—simply because the clock has reached closing time. The reality is that I arrived at approximately 9:00 p.m. and was at the window at 9:01 p.m. It felt as though the focus was placed entirely on debating a minute or two rather than simply handling the situation with basic professionalism and common courtesy. What could have been a simple interaction became an unnecessarily frustrating experience. I am not upset simply because of a smoothie. I am disappointed because of the way I was treated. As a frequent and loyal customer, I would expect a much higher level of customer service and professionalism from a business I support so regularly. I sincerely hope management addresses this situation with the staff, because no customer should leave feeling as though their business—and more importantly, their basic dignity and respect—does not matter.

    Worst tropical smoothie I have ever been to. Staff helping me rude and had no customer service. After my order was taken the girl who took my order left the other girl alone to make all of the smoothies by herself. The store was busy so it took forever to get my drink. I will not be you going back to this location.

    I always love getting smoothies every once in a while but was very disappointed with this location. The food was good other than they gave me an apple that was very bruised and mushy. We were mostly disappointed in the service we received. We had to repeat ourselves multiple times because the employee taking our order could not focus with the head set for drive threw she had on. As well as other employees kept coming up to her and asking her questions and she could not focus on our answers to her questions.

    Didn’t blend my smoothie all the way and a worker cut in line in the bathroom. They were in there long enough for me to get my food and at that point I left.
