  Horribe customer service, employees seemed they hated their job and were just plain out rude. Food was very mid, do not recommend.

  Do yourself a favor and go to a place that has good Mexican food. They’re all over this town. Food was cold, one-dimensional flavor and overhyped. The “fresh chips” were half stale and the queso was grainy.

  I have to say, this location is amazing! When I first arrived, it wasn’t terribly busy, but that changed very quickly as the lunch rush came in. Despite being incredibly busy and having a steady stream of customers, the staff remained calm, patient, and genuinely kind throughout the entire experience. What really made my visit so enjoyable was the staff. Even when they were clearly slammed, they took the time to listen to each customer and allowed everyone the time they needed to order their food exactly the way they wanted. I especially want to thank the entire team because I was there with developmentally disabled adults. Their patience, understanding, and willingness to take the extra time with us meant more than they probably realized. They never made us feel rushed or uncomfortable, and that made the experience a truly positive one. Thank you so much to the Idaho Falls team! Your patience, kindness, and professionalism really stood out. You’re the best!

  ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Ahhh, Chipotle. What can I say? It was one of my favorite places to eat when I lived in Maryland, and when I moved to Idaho Falls in 2021, I was genuinely disappointed to discover there wasn't one here. So when I heard we were FINALLY getting a Chipotle, I was excited...until I learned it was going into the old Carl's Jr. building. I'd been inside that building exactly once, and I refused to go back because the entrance had a smell I can only describe as...someone had peed there. 😬 When Chipotle opened, though, I couldn't resist. I prepared myself to walk through the doors and encounter *the smell.* **NO PEE SMELL!** I don't know what kind of cleaning voodoo they performed in that building, but I'm impressed. I honestly thought they'd need to demolish the place and start over. Whatever secret cleaning method they discovered, they should bottle it and make millions. 😂 Anyway...back to the actual food. I ordered a bowl with carnitas and started making my way down the line. I knew guacamole and queso were extra, but I wanted to try everything, so when we got to the toppings I basically said, **"Everything."** He looked at me: "Everything?" Me: **"Yep. EVERYTHING."** *Circles hands dramatically over all the toppings.* 😂 We paid, sat down, and started eating. But I began doing the math in my head and something wasn't adding up. I checked my receipt and discovered I'd been charged $1 for the **Cilantro Lime Sauce**. Okay, it's only $1—but money is money. I looked at the big menu board where the other additional charges were listed. Nothing. Once the line died down, I started walking toward the register to ask about it and THEN noticed a small sign introducing the Cilantro Lime Sauce and mentioning the $1 charge. Fair enough. I missed the sign. But since it was a newer item and the charge wasn't listed with the other extras on the main board, it would have been nice for the employee making my bowl to say, "Just so you know, that's an extra dollar." Clear expectations, problem solved. But here's where it gets funny... About a week later, we took our son, who is also a Chipotle fan. I ordered **the exact same thing.** This time? Carnitas: charged. Guacamole: charged. Cilantro Lime Sauce: **NOT charged.** My husband, however, **WAS charged for the sauce.** 😂😂😂 So now I'm tempted to go back, order the exact same bowl again, and play **Chipotle Extra-Charge Roulette.** What will I be charged for THIS time?! And that's really my complaint. I don't mind paying for extras. If something costs extra, charge me! But clearly identify the additional charge beforehand and then **charge it consistently**. If the Cilantro Lime Sauce costs $1, charge everyone $1. If it doesn't, don't randomly charge some customers and not others. My other complaint is the carnitas pieces. I'm eating a bowl filled with relatively small things—rice, beans, corn, salsa—and then suddenly there's a piece of carnitas approximately the size of my hand. What exactly am I supposed to do with that? Stick my fork in it and eat it like a **carnitas lollipop? A meat drumstick?** 😂 I couldn't really eat it with the rest of the bowl. It definitely needed to be chopped into smaller, bite-sized pieces. All that said, **it's still Chipotle, and I still really enjoy it.** I'm sure we'll be back, I'm sure I'll enjoy my bowl, and maybe eventually I'll stop being so picky. But then again...sometimes picky provides the most real review you're going to get. 😂🌯

  We went to chipotle Mexican Grill on 17th in Idaho Falls for the first time this week and got a chicken Asada salad bowl. It appears that all menu items prices are based on what kind of meat you put in them. There’s plenty of seating indoors there’s also an outdoor seating area, which is sunny during the day and shaded by the building in the evening. it’s also right alongside 17th Street so there’s a lot of traffic noise. The employees were very friendly and the food was pretty tasty. It’s definitely worth a try.
