last night me and some friends went out for a bite to eat and some drinks after grabbing my best friend from work. when we arrived inside at exactly 10:15 (I was texting my boyfriend so I have time stamps) we were told it would be a 20 minute wait. we were seated at 10:58. I understand being busy, but there were plenty of empty tables both when we arrived and when we were seated, so even being told this wait time was a little confusing. the restaurant got progressively more empty, which makes the following service even more frustrating. after being seated by the host who seemed to exhausted, careless, or both, we waited 20 minutes (11:19) to receive our drinks from a different waitress than our original server, Nyssa, and since it took 20 minutes, they came out with our COLD nachos. we were given forks that were covered in grime (pictured below) and we then waited 25ish more minutes to receive food from another completely different waitress (11:43). while only receiving one refill within 40 minutes of waiting at our table, we attempted to make eye contact or some sort of gesture toward Nyssa, as we saw her out on the floor helping other tables. we watch them seat a large group as we continue to be ignored. at this point, we were already just wanting boxes and the check, and as we look down we notice how crusty and old the food was looking. the marinara was crusted over, the wings looked dried out, the buns of the sandwiches were dry on the outside, wet on the inside. it seemed like it had all been forgotten under heat lamps. the four of us didn’t even feel like eating it anymore. 2/3 times seeing the og server, she asked how we’re doing after we received our food so we said eh we’ll just take the check and some boxes. the third time she came around was with the check and it only took about 2 minutes. our check was then $85 for the most mediocre, dry food and service for 4 people. if the only time someone’s fast is when they’re being paid and rushing us out, doesn’t really make me want to come back, let alone leave a tip. i wish we had gotten more pictures like how our food looked or the restaurant being half empty, but at that point we were just fed up. maybe this is an under staffing issue, but it also didn’t seem crazy busy and there were clearly 2 other servers available to bring out random tables’ food. we left at 11:54, an hour after being seated, one refill, crusted food, nasty forks, and saw our original server 3 times including her getting asked for the check and bringing it out. i’m not one to complain frequently, my only negative reviews being about a school and a business out of state that i heard misconduct about over the internet(#solidarity), but this was ridiculous.
Take a hard pass at this Buffalo Wild Wings. I ordered 10 wings bone in with a side of fries & queso. Lets start with the wings 5 lemon pepper/5 sweet bbq, the wings were burnt, crispy and barely had meat on a tiny chicken wing. The sauces lemon pepper/ sweet bbq tasted awful on a burnt, crispy chicken wing. I ate 1 of each and my stomach was upset. $18 bucks for a meal, I barely ate and ended up throwing away. What a total waste of money!! Now the fries, I live less than 7 mins away. I placed my order with a pick up at 5:40 pm, I was home at my table by 5:50 pm and the fries were cold. Overall for nearly $20, 10 wings with fries, HARD PASS. Plenty of other better quality, same priced foods in the area to eat & spend your $$.
Buffalo Wild Wings needs to hire some better cooks to prepare, cook & take pride in cooking/servicing food. Honestly I am so mad cause I am hungry and my food tasted awful. I will be reaching out to corporate headquarters.
