- HJH JMay 13, 20261.0I was at the Cole Road and Fairview store in Boise from 11:00-11:30 this morning May 13th and had an uncomfortable experience. I needed to get some bacon and saw that a certain brand was on sale. There was a large older man stocking the bacon and sausage and he wouldn’t move out of the way so I could get what I wanted. He acted impatient with me and it felt very awkward. As a grocery store employee myself, when a customer needs something or I’m in the way while they are trying to grab an item or even if they’re just looking in that area, I make sure to get out of their way until they have moved on. Just because you’re a man with a bigger build, doesn’t make it okay to be impatient and rude with customers who are trying to shop. There’s no such thing as bacon stocking emergency and it would have only taken me a few seconds to grab what I wanted to buy. When I got to the checkout, I asked the cashier to please put the bacon back for me because I didn’t want to encounter him again and the bacon I was able to reach around him wasn’t the one I wanted. I think I’ll go to Fred Meyer from now on where the employees are friendly.
