  Placed an order for delivery today. The delivery person smelled like he'd been driving with his window up and smoking. So did my bags of groceries. 🤮

  Today’s customer service experience deserves a million stars for truly going above and beyond! I placed a delivery order through the Albertsons app, and the main thing I needed was a whole young chicken for chicken soup. Of course, I ordered a bunch of other things to go along with it, but emphasis on this: I really just needed the chicken. 😅 Everything else arrived except—you guessed it—the chicken! I checked my order confirmation, and it showed that the chicken had been shopped for, so I assumed the driver may have accidentally left it in the car or that it had rolled under a seat. I called Albertsons to see whether they could contact the driver, since that information is not available through the app. I spoke with Crystal—I hope I spelled your name correctly—and she explained that the store does not have access to the driver’s information. Even so, she offered to have someone bring me a replacement chicken. She asked how soon I needed it, and I said that within an hour would be wonderful, but whenever they could get it to me would be fine. I kid you not, less than an hour later, a young gentleman arrived at my door with a brand-new chicken! He left before I could catch his name or give him a tip, so I plan to stop by tomorrow to personally thank both him and Crystal. This was an incredible customer service experience, and Albertsons has absolutely earned even more of my business. Thank you so much for taking care of me and going the extra mile!

  If you use the app and clip coupons, you can find offers that have value, sometimes really good value. There is a strong selection of beer and wine at this location, many of which are local brews. The store is clean and well kept with a few self-serve registers. There is a large selections of fresh floral arrangements. They have a customer service area with money orders available. The online ordering is easy and the pick-up service is very convenient, accurate, and often ready early, though you'll want to plan ahead especially during peak hours. The parking lot accessibility is poor and often congested, but that's not Albertsons fault. Expect to pay premium prices at Albertsons unless you watch for sales and clip the coupons in the app. This establishment is still Corporate America, just not as bad as some of the larger entities.
