The employee who appeared to be the manager never acknowledged me directly, never made eye contact, and kept her head down the entire time while moving around and over other employees behind the counter. The interaction felt cold, dismissive, and unprofessional from start to finish. What stood out most was when my cup was abruptly slammed down on the counter and I was told, “You can get your own drink.” While I understand self-service drink stations are common, the tone and manner in which it was said were completely unnecessary and disrespectful. I do not expect extraordinary service, but I do expect basic courtesy, professionalism, and respect when visiting a business — especially from someone who appeared to be in a leadership role. Unfortunately, this experience left a very negative impression and made me feel more like an inconvenience than a valued customer.
