  Normally we have been happy...not so much Sunday. Lots of empty seats and yet seat us right outside the bathroom. I have worked food service for years and would always tried to what I could to accommodate customers. Not sure what the police is here but I asked for an item a la carte and was told no. I was willing to pay. I ended up ordering a sandwich where the meat was almost non-existent and when pointed out to the waitress I got an apology and that was it. Better luck next time I guess.

  I had a family emergency where my grandmother was unexpectedly transported to the hospital late at night, and I wanted to bring her something fresh and hot to eat since the hospital cafeteria was already closed. I placed an online order with Copper Boar and asked if it could be made as close to my pickup time as possible so it would still be warm by the time I got it from North Liberty to the hospital. Not only did they make sure the food was fresh and hot, but they also offered kind words of encouragement when I picked it up and wished my grandmother well. That level of compassion meant more than I can put into words. You truly never know what someone is going through, and small acts of kindness like this can make a huge difference in someone's day. I'm incredibly grateful for the care and compassion they showed during such a difficult time. Thank you, Copper Boar.

  The food was very good! Our waitress was pretty slow because she said she was taking a call from her other job trying to find a cook. She was nice though. Would definitely recommend

  This might be a more odd review than usual, but I was at a couple kids lemonade stand kitty corner to Copper Boar. One of the employees in their work shirt(assuming she was going into work) (pink and black hair) stopped to talk to the kids, complimented their stand (SO MUCH!!), gave them a big tip and told them if they needed water to stop in and see her since it’s hot today. I’ve never ate at this establishment before but i definitely plan on now and will be keeping an eye out for her!!!! Thank you for still being the good in the world.

  This place was fantastic! We visited with a party of six for brunch, and everything was delicious and came out quickly. Our waiter, Alex, was attentive, friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our meal. The atmosphere was welcoming, the service was excellent, and everyone in our group left happy. We will definitely be back!
