  Love this place! Nearly once a month a group of 8 women gather, catch up and eat more than we need! They never rush us and we always come back the next month.

  We're visiting Grinnell, first time here. Ordered Pizza Ranch delivery. There was a snafu with our order, so I called and Jeremy was the epitome of professional and helpful. The order was re-made and delivered, and it was seriously some of the best pizza we've ever had. I will be a Pizza Ranch customer for life now.

  I eat at Pizza ranch whenever I'm traveling in Iowa. I mainly go for the fried chicken and salad. I arrived at this location at 8:30pm. The website says they close at 10pm but there's a banner out front that says buffet open until 9pm. That being said, with 30 minutes left on the buffet, there was only 3 pieces of fried chicken which looked like they had been sitting there a while, only a few potato wedges and no potato chips. The gravy was watery and the rest of the hot food looked like they had not been refreshed for several hours. They're were only two types of pizza and that looked old. When I paid they're was no mention of the closing time not was I asked if there was anything they could have gotten for me. When I served myself salad and the chicken I looked at the dessert pizza/cookie. There was a full chocolate chip cookie in the pan and 1 and a half dessert pizzas,I thought I would come back for those so they could stay warm. I was the only person in the restaurant and when I did go back for dessert the cookie was gone. I saw on particular employee walk by the area several times and grab a piece of chicken and other things of the buffet line with his ungloved hand and they eat it while he walked back into the kitchen. This is a direct violation of every health code in any city in the country. Disgusting experience and this location should be evaluated by corporate.

  Seriously the most accommodating staff. We are driving cross country from New York to Idaho with our five children. They helped us on the gluten allergies then gave us a to go container as one of our daughters was sick and couldn’t eat so she could eat later. Food was fresh and restaurant was clean.

  Never have any food out on buffet and current food is old and cold. Always in the back hanging out and not watching quality and food selection. Chicken was cold mac and cheese was cold and dried up. Customers constantly have to remind or ask about normal selections not being put out. Highly recommend avoiding this place and go to another place Or Newton pizza ranch instead
