  Had a fantastic experience at Sonic Drive-In. From the moment we pulled in, the service was fast, friendly, and welcoming. It’s always fun visiting a classic drive-in style restaurant, and this location really delivered a great overall experience. The food came out hot, fresh, and full of flavor. The burgers were cooked perfectly, the tots were crispy, and the drinks were ice cold and refreshing. Everything tasted exactly the way you hope a Sonic meal should taste. You can tell the staff works hard to keep orders moving quickly while still making sure the quality is there. One thing we really appreciated was the friendly attitude from the employees. Even during a busy time, everyone seemed upbeat and professional, which made the stop even more enjoyable. The location was clean, easy to access, and had that classic fun roadside atmosphere that makes Sonic stand out. As Mike & Amy’s Small Town Adventures, we travel through small towns and cities across the Midwest exploring restaurants and hidden gems, and this Sonic was definitely a great stop during our time in Dubuque. We would absolutely come back again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a quick and tasty meal. Easy 5 stars from us.   Trash on tables, employees were not real friendly, took 45 minutes to get 2 ice creams!! When we asked about where the ice cream was after about 30 minutes they said they were working on it. 10 minutes later we asked again and the girl said they were getting it. Then management came to the front to ask if there was a problem, we said we’ve been waiting for 45 minutes for 2 ice creams and all she said was “hold on”! Finally after waiting 45 minutes we got the ice cream, no apologies. Meanwhile we had several people come in and order and they got their orders and left before us. We did see them mess up another persons order as well. Will not be back! Not worth the wait at all!!!

  1 star because as I was using the app and willing to pay full price, of course it wants to go thru.... but the minute I try to redeem a reward, suddenly the "app doesn't work and there's nothing we can do". The girl who came out said that the owner will not honor app rewards and that they are loosing business because customers like me feel it's a bait and switch... Offer rewards to get customers in, but the minute customers try to redeem throw "technical difficulties" and "we won't honor" in. She told me my only options were to try and redeem a "lesser" reward, or place the order with no rewards. I picked a third option, and went somewhere else. Pictures show how without rewards it immediately offers to let me pay and offers me payment method... but with discount, it shows technical difficulties and won't go any further.
