  I took these pictures 2 years ago and just found them on my camera, but we also went there a few weeks ago as well. If I had only gone a few weeks ago, I probably would have given this a four-star review. Our server was not friendly at all. I don't think she was necessarily mean, I think that's just her personality. But the first time we went the server was absolutely amazing! He was very friendly and accommodating. I feel like this place should be busier than it is. Both times we went there it was not packed but I don't know how it isn't. Maybe it's because it's off a side street and not on the main drag. But I absolutely love it! The theme is amazing and they've done such a great job with the design and decor. So many places you can take pictures. So many different seating arrangements to accommodate any size party. There's bar seating, tables, benches, couches, etc. Ironically both times we went to this place. We were celebrating my daughter's birthday and we were bar hopping in downtown Des Moines. I absolutely loved the vibe and I recommend it to anyone who is in the area!

  Revival House was one of the most unique cocktail bars I visited in Des Moines! Hidden in downtown, this tiki-themed bar feels like you've stepped into a tropical oasis with bamboo accents, colorful lighting, and fun vintage-inspired décor. The cocktail menu is full of creative tropical drinks, and the atmosphere is what really makes this place stand out! It's cozy, immersive, and the perfect spot for a date night, catching up with friends, or starting an evening downtown. We went on a mini road trip to Des Moines from Kansas City and this was the first spot we visited! Every corner has its own personality, making it just as fun to look around as it is to sip your drink. If you're looking for a cocktail bar that's a little different from the norm, Revival House is definitely worth adding to your Des Moines itinerary.

  Fun tiki bar! Great drinks and lounge space. Service is just ok. Only critique is it's a bit bright and the music doesn't match the vibe.

  Revival House is such a gem in downtown Des Moines. The atmosphere hits that perfect balance between vibrant and relaxed tiki-themed without feeling overdone, just really fun and inviting. The highlight of the night was absolutely the bartender. Incredibly attentive, genuinely kind, and clearly passionate about making sure guests have a great experience. Their energy really made the whole visit feel special. I can see this becoming one of my new go-to spots, and I’d come back anytime.
