  I wanted to write a review because I’ve seen a lot of people writing bad reviews lately for Dewitt, Iowa Pizza Hut. I hear a lot of people complaining about their hours and them being closed even though they say they’re open and them not answering their phone and so on. I just wanted to inform you people that are writing those bad reviews. It’s kind of one of them transition periods where they’ve had some management change ups and they don’t have a lot of employees and the employees they do have are basically brand new employees so they don’t know the ropes. I only know this because I spoke to one of the people that work there and after that person explain what had been going on for the last two weeks. I had a better understanding of what’s going on in their department and I have a better respect and I’m not upset about everything going on. It’s just nice to be informed about what’s going on and they don’t really inform a lot of people because they’re not very good at informing the public. Like you can literally tell just based off of the random changes on their hours without notice and their entire webpage on Pizza Hut got changed as well now that part the webpage is changed up from the CEO not from in particular restaurants. But it sucks that they aren’t very good at informing the public about all the changes they’re doing, but after knowing about it, it makes you understand better and not be so upset about your experience. And I also talked to a DoorDash delivery driver and even them I get to understand them better and respect them more the more I know what’s going on. So I want to inform everybody who has been giving bad reviews be patient with them right now because in about a month or two those new hires are gonna have a better understanding of the ropes and have some experience under their belt, So right now yeah it’s kind of a hassle, but you gotta also understand the situation they have at their business.

  Good pizza at a good price if using deals, they need to sharpen their pizza cutters tho.

  Called before 6pm and asked about a group coming. Was put on hold and they never returned to the call. So we drove there and the doors were locked by 6:30pm. We have had other issues over the years so we definitely won't ever be back.

  Typical Pizza Hut. Disappointed in buffet, no salad, only 2 choices of pizza, there was some bread Stix. Next time going to Happy Joe's down the street.

  We came as a party of 9. The food was really good!! It was very clean and the waitress was very attentive. We will make the hour again to eat there!!
