We visited for the first time today, we've talked about it for years and we're excited for it. We probably won't be back.
Overall, the food was good. My mom loved the fried rice, I loved the beef strogenoff, and my brother enjoyed a lot of what he got. I was annoyed that several of the dishes appeared to run out and not have quick replacements.
However, we called a few days before to check that everyone in our party would be able to find food they liked, especially our 10 year old. We asked if there would be pizzas available and the person told us that there was an Italian section and that there would be pizzas. No mention that the only pizza served on Sundays is breakfast pizza, it was implied that there would be a selection. My kiddo was very disappointed and the only thing she ate from the entire buffet was the garlic cheese bread. We paid $20 for breadsticks. More transparency on the menu or giving us all the info when we called would have saved us the time going there and probably would have convinced me to try a different day and we would have been happier.
Additionally, while all of the servers we talked to said happy mother's day, not one of them smiled or seemed to mean it, every interaction felt so unhappy. Everyone who worked there looked more annoyed or angry.
I asked in the beginning of brunch about the bottomless mimosas, and had to ask again when we could catch someone, who was not our server, and she asked our server. I finally got my first, and only, mimosa when I was finishing dessert.
After that, they never came back to offer more, they brought refills of our soda at the same time as the mimosa and one of the sodas were incorrect and we waited 10+minutes to ask to get the right drink, but never saw our server again.
Overall, it was not a very good first impression. I am sad we likely won't come back, as it was not even close to being worth the high cost, especially without being able to enjoy the "bottomless " mimosas or having actual pizzas for my daughter to eat.
