- JDJames DettloffSep 19, 20263.0JJ's is 1) Expensive. They nickel & dime for nearly everything you might want. Cheese. On a basic, plain roast beef sandwich. Seriously? 2) Their rewards are nearly useless. You can't get the "free" sandwich you earned as a meal on the app so you end up ordering sides and the drink separately and save nothing compared to if you just ordered a meal with no rewards. The amount of points it takes to get JUST a normal, original, regular size (6") is ridiculous compared to other joints (Jersey Mike's, for example) 3) Not accountable for their deliveries because half the time they rely on garbage Uber-Eats and the delivery that they pride on being five minutes away takes half an hour and the driver doesn't ended bother ringing the bell to let you know it's there. JJ's sandwiches aren't anything spectacular taste wise, mediocre at best. Subway isn't as good but at least it doesn't cost you extra to add cheese to a basic sandwich (seriously, who gets a cold cut sandwich without cheese on it). Jersey Mike's isn't particularly cheap but for about the same cost I get a bigger sandwich and aren't upcharged for damned near everything and I can use my rewards on the base sandwich regardless of it being a meal or my adding to it. If my family didn't insist, JJ's would be in the bin with McDonald's for charging for ensuring and not getting orders correct (a favorite of one of my family members is the "Beach Club". It's turkey, provolone, & avocado spread. The avocado is literally one of the three hallmark ingredients, half the time they forget the avocado - to the point that I actually add a note to not forget it. IT'S A SIGNATURE INGREDIENT! Not an addition, yet they will send it out without it on there half the time... while charging more for a smaller, lower quality sandwich that they won't let you use your treats to actually save money with while they charge you for NORMAL SANDWICH TOPPINGS.

I didn’t realize it until I was already at the event that I ordered them for and by then it was too late to call and get them to fix it. Also, The lady at the window when I do the pick up, was less than friendly.
