  Yesterday I came and didn’t really have the best experience however, the owner contacted me and thanked me for the honest feedback and he wanted to make it right… and I must say he did … I ate again and I must say the customer service as well as my meal was exceptional today. I am very pleased to say I look forward to coming back to Iowa and visiting Ghost Chicken!!! #trylemonpeper and tell them Steph sent ya❤️😘thank you Mr Jimmy you are awesome !!! praying many blessings to you and your family….❤️🙏🏿

  This place was amazing, with a fun, bright atmosphere and a friendly greeting. The chicken was delicious, but unfortunately the mac and cheese just wasn't cutting it. It was too runny for me, closer to soup than anything. It still tasted awesome, but it just didn't hit the spot like a good mac and cheese should. Now let's talk about them curly fries. These babies were 🔥 so so good! ​I got to meet the owner while I was there. We actually talked for quite a bit, and he was a really nice guy who loved supporting the military, veterans, and EMS. Anyway, I really do recommend you stop and give them a try. They will definitely be one of our regular stops when we come through Iowa.

  Food was very good, juicy and tasty chicken, better than the others in town, customizable to your tastes unlike others. The sidewinders are the equivalent of the best potato wedges I've ever had. Good atmosphere, that felt comfortable enough to sit down in for hours. Highly recommend coming here and checking it out for yourself. My wife and I will be coming back for more

  Went today at 7:10 PM so my son could get a #1 Hot Honey. He went inside, paid for it, and we went home. When he opened his sandwich, they had never put the sauce on it that was supposed to come with it, the Ghost Chicken sauce. I called and explained what happened, and the girl simply said, “Okay.” In a dismissive and rude tone.. No apology, no “Would you like to come back up so we can fix it?” Nothing. Horrible customer service. I will never spend another dollar here again. ***UPDATE: After seeing the owner’s response, I want to clarify that my issue was never simply that a mistake was made. Mistakes happen, and I understand that. My issue was how I was treated when I called to have the problem addressed. Instead of apologizing or offering to fix the order, the employee I spoke with was dismissive. The owner’s response also seems to focus on the fact that a mistake happened rather than the customer service issue I actually complained about. Customers should not be expected to simply accept an order that does not match what they paid for, and they should not be treated rudely or dismissively when they call about it. I would have been completely satisfied with a simple apology and an offer to correct the order. The mistake itself was not the reason for my review. The way the situation was handled afterward was.

  The chicken here is excellent, but fair warning—the Ghost Reaper is no joke. Even if you’re someone who regularly eats spicy food, this thing can absolutely humble you. What sets this place apart from most hot chicken spots is that they actually serve genuinely spicy chicken. Too many places claim to be “hot” and barely deliver. Here, the Ghost and Ghost Reaper levels bring the heat if that’s what you’re looking for. I’m convinced the staff takes a little pride in watching people tear up after that first bite. 🤣🔥 If you’re a spice lover, this place is definitely worth a visit.
