  The worst sandwich ever. Used drive thru at noon. Bread was FROZEN! I could feel it frozen through the wrapping. And hard crust. Sauce all over, even on the outside bottom. Meats falling out because bun was frozen. A mess all over. Mushy liquid lettuce soaked in sauce. Dripping. Wish we could have returned it but we drove in from out of town for two grandsons flag football games and needed to get there. We had to throw the $12 sandwich away. Unbelievable. It was so obvious that staff did not care.

  4 sandwiches wrong in 1 order??? BLT with (extra) bacon burnt… no mayo either which is a first. 3 people asked for mayo packets which NEVER come. One sandwich was probably someone else’s that we got instead of ours…We order as a business out of pure convenience on Saturdays and have for years - we will be making a change to our lunches, i think.

  First time trying out jimmy johns and the kid in the drive thru that has a bruised eye needs to be removed from that area. Didn’t understand a word he was saying and he didn’t even let me let me talk without interrupting. I even repeated the order of the drink I wanted and he still gave me the wrong drink order.

  I went thru the Jimmy John's drive thru at the corner of Ankeny Blvd and SW 2nd street between 11:30am and noon. I placed my order and wasn't told the final price until I reached the window. The price was several dollars more than the advertised price plus tax on the drive thru board. I was told at the window they had price hikes, but did not have the material to make the changes to their menu. I heard that both from the worker and on site manager. I believe you should honor your price you advertise until you make official changes to your menu. Both the worker and on site manager would not match the price on their menu. However, I was offered a free cookie. I declined and left with no food. I contacted corporate customer service about this location charging more than the price they advertise. They person I spoke with is getting the issue escalated to a higher level for investigation. I'm making this post to make those who eat at this location to be mindful of what you are getting charged based upon what they advertise. I hope they get their menu pricing fixed fast.
