Sat at the second drive through speaker and wasn’t helped as 5 cars ordered and went through the first drive through speaker. Eventually had to call their phone and let them know I was sitting at the second speaker and wasn’t being helped

On Saturday, May 30, 2026, I had a very disappointing experience at this McDonald’s location. I stopped in for lunch and paid with cash. I handed the employee at the register two $20 bills to pay for my order. After taking the money, the employee told me that I had given him a $20 bill and a $5 bill. I immediately told him that was impossible because I did not have any $5 bills on me. Earlier that day, I had been paid for a service entirely in $20 bills, and those were the only bills I had in my possession. When I explained this, I expected the situation to be investigated seriously. Instead, I was offered a free ice cream “for the confusion.” While I appreciate the gesture, I wasn’t concerned about getting a free dessert. I was concerned about the missing $19 in change that I believed I was owed. A free ice cream does not resolve a cash discrepancy involving nearly twenty dollars. The situation became even more frustrating when my friend approached the counter and asked if the register could be checked. According to my friend, when the employee opened the register, there was a $20 bill and a $5 bill sitting together in the section where the $20 bills were stored. My friend also stated that he saw another folded $20 bill in the register after the employee picked up the $20 bill and the $5 bill that he claimed I had handed him. I again explained that I had been paid earlier that day entirely in $20 bills and did not have any $5 bills on me. At that point, the employee responded by saying, “I’m not saying you’re lying.” While that may have been intended to calm the situation, it did not address the actual concern or explain why there was a disagreement about the amount of cash that had been handed over. As the conversation continued, another employee or manager came over. I expressed my frustration and said that, from my perspective, it seemed possible that a $5 bill could have been produced and then claimed to be part of the money I handed over. Instead of investigating further, I was told that I needed to leave the store because I was being “disrespectful.” I understand that disagreements happen and that mistakes can occur when handling cash. However, what bothered me most was not just the missing money, but how the situation was handled. I felt that my concerns were dismissed, I was not taken seriously, and no meaningful effort was made to resolve the dispute. Being offered ice cream instead of a proper review of the transaction felt insulting, and being asked to leave after trying to explain my side of the situation made the experience even worse. I have visited many McDonald’s locations over the years and have rarely had an issue. Unfortunately, this experience left me feeling frustrated, unheard, and unwilling to return to this location. I believe customers deserve to have cash discrepancies investigated thoroughly and professionally, especially when the amount in question is significant. I hope management reviews this incident, checks any available surveillance footage, and provides additional training on how to handle cash disputes and customer concerns. Customers should feel confident that their money is being handled accurately and that legitimate concerns will be treated with respect. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend this location.

Long story short: They prevented me from heaving a seizure. Long story: I’m not from around here . We live about 2 hours and 30 mins from here. My brother was graduating today and we were trying to get the deal so we all decided on McDonalds. There was an issue with another customer they were having. This short white privileged boy was throwing a fit. Things was getting heated the employee kept there cool. There has been a lot of stuff happening in my life and I’ve been getting seizures from them. I was trying to not let what’s happening affect me but for some reason it was I had to walk out because my card wasn’t working in the building and I needed it unlocked. So my mom went out with me. My mom went inside while I breathed a little more. One employee that was getting accused of something he didn’t do(90%sure) came outside to breathe. The manger came out to make sure he’s okay. Went inside to get started on ordering my stuff. These two men had nothing but smiles after, made sure we was okay, and made us feel safe. For someone in fighter flight right now I really appreciate how this whole thing went down. I wish I could tell them how grateful I am for all of it.
