Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

- MAMatthew A.Aug 21, 20261.0I've had several not great experiences here, especially with their service, but tonight, I got to the drive thru at least 10-15 minutes before close. They never asked for my order, and then the menu changed to "closed" after a long wait. They literally waited me out so they didn't have to take my order. Also, I definitely smelled weed when I pulled up. A different time I ate inside and was only given part of my order. I walked up to the counter to ask for the rest and every employee flat out ignored me with me trying to wave them down. This went on for at least 15 minutes. Long enough for the food I did receive to get ice cold. Some of the food is good, but losing 24 hour service (even though they have it still 24 hours on Google - which is a lie) when there are better options available during their open hours and reducing menu options...and the whole terrible service thing...and improperly cooked food, will make this place close down. I think I personally will give up on this chain. Also, for the love of all that is holy, turn down the light on the menu. It's like looking at the sun.

This is the worst "fast food" restaurant I have ever been to. My family and I will never come back. Do yourself a favor and just close this place already!

The burgers were good, but nothing that really stood out compared to other places. Overall, it was a solid experience with good food and worth trying if you haven’t had it before.
