I went on the grand opening day and ordered two hot drinks and two donuts.
First, I spent about 5 minutes waiting in the drive-through, even though there were no cars in front of me. I assumed they had a lot of customers because it was the grand opening, but there actually weren’t many customers. When I finally got to the window, they gave me cold drinks. I told them that I had ordered hot drinks, but I said it was okay and decided to take the cold ones.
During the conversation, I forgot about my donuts, and the employees didn’t give them to me either. After I started driving, I realized I didn’t have my donuts, so I pulled over and went inside to get them. There were no customers inside. I asked about my order, and they told me, “Sorry, we’re out.” I explained that I had ordered the donuts through the drive-through just a minute earlier.
Then, the guy at the drive-through window, who was scrolling on his phone without saying anything, handed me a package of donuts that had been sitting right next to him by the window. There were no napkins or straws offered, and there was no apology either.
Unfortunately, they also got my donut order wrong. I ordered a glazed donut, but they gave me a different kind. I only noticed after I got back to my car. At that point, I didn’t want to go back inside again to ask them to correct it.
Overall, it was a very disappointing experience, especially on the grand opening day. I hope this was just one bad experience at this location and that they will improve their customer service and provide better training for their employees.
