I’m a Winder local, I’ve eaten here twice to give it a second shot. Ordered caprese, a pizza, meatballs and a salad.
Never got the meatballs- instead we got an extra salad. The caprese was regular red tomatoes instead of the Roma tomatoes, and the pizza you could tell the pie was premade- we got chicken and mushroom and the chicken was super dry and the ingredients were on top with melted cheese and not cooked into the dough. The food lacked flavor unfortunately.
And the menu is hard to follow. There is a build your own pizza but the toppings are not listed.
Also, no fountain drinks, and very limited beer selection.
Our server was super nice, so no complaint for service however this is extremely overpriced for subpar food for downtown winder.
The people were friendly but that is where the positives end. They don’t have a soda machine, so they serve out of date canned drinks that are flat. Some tables receive bread some don’t. We unfortunately didn’t. The pasta was awful. Small portion of noodles swimming in sauce that taste like it came from a jar. The meatballs are definitely the frozen meatballs you get in the frozen food department at the grocery store. The pizza was ok but nothing I would go back for. Overall I am shocked at the number of people who rated this place 5 stars. I guess that is why we can’t get a good restaurant around here. Everyone is rating microwaveable food as 5 stars.

Ate here for the first time tonight 8/10 with my dear friend for dinner. We sat ourselves, I guess that's the way they do it there. It was more casual than expected but still that was fine. We ordered waters and calamari as an starter and placed our dinner orders at the same time. The appetizer came out at the same time as the entrees which was also fine. We ordered two of the chicken pesto pastas. The calamari was tasty as was the chicken pasta. Some kids were there making their own pizzas which I thought was cute. I would return to try other menu items. The service was fast and friendly.

Unfortunately, this was a really disappointing experience. The restaurant wasn’t even particularly busy, yet everything seemed to take a very long time. The table was dirty when I sat down, and it took quite a while just to get an Italian soda.
I was given bread, which is supposed to come with oil and vinegar, and they normally prepare it for you to dip the bread in. That never came, and I eventually had to ask for it after noticing it on another table.
I also ordered an Italian soda, which took forever. There was no one even manning the bar, so my waitress eventually had to make it herself.
Then my chicken fettuccine pesto finally came out, and unfortunately it was very watery and lacked flavor. The chicken also had a lot of tough tendons in it, making it difficult to eat.
Overall, the service was extremely slow, the food was disappointing, and the restaurant wasn't even busy enough to explain the delays. I really wanted to enjoy the experience, but unfortunately I left feeling like the quality and service did not match what I expected.
Had dinner here for the first time tonight. We were very pleasantly surprised! The atmosphere is unique and the pizza we had was fresh, cooked perfectly and had a great flavor. Caesar salad dressing tasted homemade with a light lemon flavor. The bar was beautiful and the tables remained full. They have indoor and outdoor dining as well as activities for the kids. As good as all this was it was outshined by the service! It has been a very long time since I’ve experienced customer service like this! Tables were seated quickly, food came out without a wait, but not rushed. The staff worked as a team to get patrons taken care of which was nice to see. Juan waited on and served us at the bar. He was a delight and I hope management knows what an asset this young man is to their establishment! Gave us history on the owner and restaurant , he gave suggestions on food and explained an upcoming event they are having and invited us like we were friends. Then he brought out a fabulous desert! Cannoli's with a delicious filling sitting on a raspberry preserve topped with crushed pistachios! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 You will not be disappointed !
