  David Gillespie should be ashamed for ruining Robert Walters' legacy and a true Winder institution. The legendary thin & crispy cat-head biscuits are ruined, the smoke link is gone, and the service is garbage. I went this morning for two sausage biscuits dipped in gravy and a sweet tea, but got unsweet tea and two completely wrong biscuits. I am absolutely done. I will be taking my money to the Dacula location from now on to support the small family who owns that location & cares deeply about the quality of food they serve.

  I’ve been a winder DQ patron for 30 plus years, and always looked forward to their biscuit. I am very disappointed with the new biscuit recipe, or lack of recipe as they taste like a premade frozen biscuit. Chicken was small and over cooked as well. Service was great, but food was subpar this morning. Here’s to hoping the old breakfast will come back one day.

  We love coming here for breakfast, but this morning was not it. We ate outside because it was a beautiful morning. However, the birds have taken over the outside seating so it was a fight to eat and not get ambushed by the bird bullies. Not to mention the poop all over the chairs and tables. With a good pressure washing and maybe some netting around to keep the birds out all would be well. Otherwise always great.
