- MCMichelle ColbertJun 30, 20261.0I went through the drive thru to place my order. The young lady that took my order over the speaker was polite, she asked if I wanted iced coffee, I said, "No. I would like it hot. And I would like 3 creams and 7 sugars on the side." We get to the window, and they handed me an iced coffee. The young man at the window was very polite as well, he reimbursed us the difference for the iced coffee, and made us a hot coffee an gave us the cream and sugar on the side. I checked my food order when I pulled away from the window. The snackin' bacon that I order was burnt to a crisp, and it was cold. I decided to pull.ovee and park to go inside. I walk up to the counter with the bacon and said, "Good morning, can I get some fresh bacon. This is cold and burnt." The young lady at the counter said, " Oh I'm sorry, but we're not allowed to sell it hot. We can only sell it at room temperature or we will get sued." Huh??? I replied, "What do you mean? I was just at Dunkin(not the this locatipn) 2 days ago and my bacon was hot, fresh and it wasn't burned." I handed the bacon to her, and said, "Do you that it's burned and cold?" She then repeated the same thing. I told her that I order it all the time, and I have never had it cold or burnt, can I please get some fresh bacon. She stated again that becauseof the law she can'tgive it to me hot, but she could give me some more. I just okay, because that just sounded absurd to me! Needless to say, she came back with less burned bacon, but it was definitely still cold. Now call me crazy, but aren't they supposed to keep it in a warmer? That way it is nice and warm when they serve it to the customer. I think it's a very crazy comment to make to a customer. Needless to say, I definitely won't be ordering the snacking bacon from this location anymore... especially if they are choosing to serve it at room temperature 🙄😩 The crew is polite and courteous, but definitely miss the mark on how they should serve the food! LOL
