I am extremely disappointed by what I witnessed at this Subway location today around 12:40 Noon. I watched the employee working the cash register finish ringing up another customer. Without changing her gloves, she proceeded to wipe down the counter, handle items around the workstation, put supplies back where they belonged, and then throw the used paper towel into the trash. What concerned me most was that she pushed the trash down with the same gloved hand, placing it well inside the trash bag. Immediately after doing all of that, she turned around and began preparing my brother's sandwich with those same gloves. I politely asked if she would please change her gloves before continuing. Instead of acknowledging my concern, she gave me an angry look and responded with an attitude. She told me, "It's not your sandwich, I'm making his sandwich," and then stated she was not going to change her gloves because she had "just changed them." That directly contradicted what I had just watched her do. This wasn't about being difficult. It was about basic food safety and preventing cross-contamination. Gloves are there to protect the food, not to touch cash register surfaces, cleaning materials, trash cans, and then immediately prepare someone's meal. Afterward, I looked at the Georgia Department of Public Health inspection report posted in the restaurant. It displayed a 100/A rating, but upon reading the inspection sheet more closely, I noticed several items marked as non-compliant. As a customer, I found that confusing because it did not match my expectations of what a perfect score represents. More importantly, what I personally witnessed today certainly did not reflect the level of food handling I would expect from a location displaying a 100% score. If this is considered acceptable food handling practice at this restaurant, that is deeply concerning. The issue wasn't simply the gloves—it was the refusal to correct the situation when a customer respectfully raised a legitimate food safety concern. Management needs to retrain staff on proper glove usage, cross-contamination prevention, and customer service. Food safety should never be treated as an inconvenience, and customers should never be met with hostility for asking that basic sanitary practices be followed. I sincerely hope management reviews the security footage from around 12:40 PM and addresses this before someone gets sick.

Came here for my lunch break, the service was sooo slow… I walked in with 2 people in front of me, left out with 10 people behind me. By the time I actually got my food, it had gotten cold already. Yall should have atleast 2 people handling in store orders and 1-2 handling DoorDash orders. This is ridiculous!
