  First time trying La Mixteca Tamale House and it definitely won’t be our last! The food was absolutely delicious, full of authentic flavor, and clearly made with care. Everything we ordered tasted fresh, homemade, and packed with flavor. The staff was friendly and welcoming, and the whole experience was great from start to finish. Don’t let the name fool you, there are so many amazing options on the menu besides tamales. If you’re looking for authentic Mexican food and generous portions, this place is definitely worth a visit!

  Mixteca was the first meal I had when I moved into my home and had nothing unpacked, it’s been a staple comfort food ever since. The food is always so good and fresh, I tell everyone to go to here to try the food because of how good it is.

  I like visiting this place after work when I am tired and I don’t want to cook but I want to fill my appetite and feel full. I eat their sopes and they are amazing. I love their salsas and their cucumber lime fresh water. I would recommend this to anyone who like authentic Mexican food. I have also bought their Tamales to take home and they are so good. It reasonable, fresh ingredients and very fulfilling. Not to greasy , even if you are little hungry , one sope is enough to make you full. There are times that I can spent 10.00 for a sope and a drink and I am happy. I haven’t tried the rest of their menu bcse I don’t eat too much in the evening but I am sure their food is good. Remember when salsas are yummy you bet the food is good as well. I go by that rule when I visit Mexican restaurants

  Best authentic green chile tamales I've had in Atlanta. Food and staff at the West Midtown location are exceptional.
