Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

Every time I’ve been, the employees have been very courteous, the service has been excellent and the food has been delicious. They have some of the best fast food onion rings I’ve ever eaten!
- GAG AtwaterJul 26, 20265.0Food was hot and came out in a reasonable time given they were extremely busy inside and drive thru. I even saw a few delivery and curbside orders come through. Jaylen kept check on my and other customer's order progress nicely. 💯 Team members in the back were working hard on the other orders. Another crew member stop me she was doing to to make sure I had a drink carrier cuz she saw me with a lot of cookies I was prepping them. I had one small hiccup with my order but it was handled very well and swiftly. My children added bacon today grilled cheese sandwiches. And it was loved off but Jalen jumped in and got it handled very quickly once I let him know about it. A lot of folks see businesses like this and assume fast food really means "Fast food but That place is like this they cook your order as soon as you order it So it will be some time especially if you got a big order and/or it's busy. My one suggestion is keep the tea fresh. It was a beginning to sour. Back in the day when I live in Brunswick, the fries and the tea were two things we would hit up Whataburger for.
