I really wanted to like this restaurant since I found it through TikTok recommendations. Adam’s service was good overall, but unfortunately the food was disappointing. The shrimp was not deveined at all, and I spent about 90% of my dining experience cleaning shrimp instead of actually enjoying my meal.

We had an extremely disappointing experience at Pirates Boil. The seafood was poorly prepared, undercooked, and honestly some of the worst we’ve had. The service matched the food — inattentive staff, long waits, and little concern for customer experience. What made it worse was the apparent lack of accountability from management when concerns were raised. To make matters serious, someone in our group became sick afterward and required a hospital visit due to suspected food poisoning from undercooked seafood. Overall, the experience felt careless, unprofessional, and unsafe.

Heard this place was better than the juicy crab so had to come try it. We got two Gold Brokers and added crawfish and everything was great. Our sever Janiya was very attentive. I will be coming back to the bar just to order another Hypnosis. Will definitely be coming back with our friends. Better than the juicy crab? Yeah I’m convinced.

I have a hair over in the last four years and never had a problem with their food but lately I went back And I had a treasure chest with crawfish and a two hours after I’m sitting here, throwing up vomiting and have food poisoning from their food. I do not recommend. for paying $160 for seafood just to make me sick is not good

Until the last few months, I would have given this place 5 stars. I went at least 15+ times a year. Staff is great and personable. I love a good boil (which is great most of the time, sometimes meh), but the wings here use to be my favorite in Atlanta. Recently though, they changed their wings likely with a new supplier from smaller, more real looking wings to the extremely bloated and larger kind you would find at a poor quality bar. The sauce still tastes great, but the meat itself is borderline inedible. Go back to the original wings please! It just makes me sad.
