The kitchen feels clean, the operation runs smooth, and the pizza comes out just the way you expect. Would Dave Portnoy hand out a crazy high score? Maybe not—it’s no New Haven classic. But it is a Papa John’s, and I’m unapologetic about enjoying it. Solid, consistent, and exactly what I came for.

The guy making pizzas literally had his belly hanging freely out the bottom of his shirt. I’m not fat shaming the man, that’s just gross and unacceptable in a kitchen. I shouldn’t be seeing your belly scraping the prep table while you make pizzas dude. Just wear an appropriately sized shirt. It’s gross.
