Uma was a great guy, took care of us really well, and had a very enjoyable time! The free sauce and crisp fennel crackers were very tasteful and much appreciated!! I got the paneer tikkia masala with garlic naan and it was very good! We also tried the lamb Samosa, which was also very good, which I usually don’t like lamb, but it was very good!

Worst Tandoori Chicken I've ever had Mint Leaf Indian Cuisine Ordered Tandoori Chicken (4) Appetizer + Butter Naan. Very disappointed. The chicken was completely drenched in oil, dripping with oil and heavy turmeric/orange color. Real tandoori is grilled and dry, this was like oily curry. After eating one piece, I washed my hands 3 times with soap and the oil and color stain still remains. Taste was also very bad. This quality is unacceptable. Will not order again.

Worst buffet experience— recycled food and a major disappointment. As an Indian who regularly cooks traditional food at home, I brought my family here to take a break from cooking. We have enjoyed their regular a la carte menu in the past, but this buffet was a massive disappointment. While a few items were passable, it strongly felt like they were recycling old leftovers from previous days and mixing them into the buffet line. The spoiled food was a major safety concern. Another Indian customer complained about the biryani while we were there. The staff replaced it, but the new batch tasted exactly the same. The desserts were clear evidence of spoilage: the Gajar Halwa literally had foam in it (authentic halwa cooked properly in ghee and milk solids should never ferment and foam), and the Mysore Pak was weirdly salty, felt like the gram flour use for this mayor park was used to make something else and when it was left maysore park was made out of it. I personally complained to the staff about these issues, but nothing was done to make it right. I don't blame the employees directly, as the business owner is the one who needs to take responsibility for how this restaurant operates and ensure they aren't serving recycled food to paying customers. I noticed a lot of American customers dining here, and I felt so bad for them. If you didn't grow up with this cuisine, you might not easily realize that parts of this buffet are compromised and made with old ingredients. I truly hope this review makes the owner improve and give fresh, safe food to the customers who pay them. Their regular menu might be fine, but avoid their buffet entirely.

⭐️ Very disappointing and concerning experience with the lunch buffet. We went to Mint Leaf during lunch and tried the chicken biryani from the buffet. The chicken and rice tasted like they had gone bad/ spoiled. As soon as I noticed it, I immediately informed the staff and asked them to please taste the food themselves so they could understand the issue. Instead of taking the concern seriously, the owner’s response was essentially that everyone else had eaten the food and I was the only person complaining. I don't think that is an appropriate response when a customer raises a legitimate concern about food quality. I simply asked them to taste the biryani themselves. They refused to do so and instead, after about 30–40 minutes, they refilled the tray. (I think they realized it). We tried the replacement, but unfortunately, the chicken pieces still tasted bad. It appeared that the rice had been changed/replaced, while the same chicken was still being served. The second batch had the same unpleasant taste. What was most disappointing was not just the food quality, but the reckless way the concern was handled by the owner. When someone tells you that food tastes spoiled, the appropriate response should be to immediately investigate it rather than dismiss the complaint because other customers ate it. I would strongly recommend that the management take food quality and buffet food-handling concerns much more seriously. Based on this experience, I would not recommend the lunch buffet at Mint leaf

We went to Mint Leaf the first time. We ordered 3 dishes: plain dosa, spinach chicken curry and chef special biryani topped with chicken 65. The plain dosa was thicker and breadier than expected. An interesting find was I can tasted the chickpea pieces. The soup and white sauce (mint chutney) came with soda were delicious. The spinach chicken has a balanced taste of spinach and spices such as cumin, coriander and anise. The coconut flavor blended everything together. A very nice dish. The chef biryani was a nice surprise. The rice was very flavorful without overly salty and wet. The side yogurt sauce had right of sourness. It really complimented the biryani. Chicken 65 was slightly disappointing. It tasted salty and wet. We expected it should be spicy and crispy. Overall it was a great experience. The servers were easy to talk to and provided a great service. We will be back to try more dishes and the weekend lunch buffet.
