This place is top notch. Make reservations on the weekend due to it's popularity. We had a party of 5 and the whole meal was out of this world. As mentioned in the other reviews, the cornbread cake they send for bread service is so so good. We ordered the onion rings for starters and the breading on those was seasoned to perfection. I ordered the fried chicken ( ktx chicken) came with the Mac and cheese and collard greens which are true southern gems. The sauce was the boss that came on the side. Everyone at the table was in love with their meals also. We will be back with more people because this place deserves all the love. Our whole experience was curated by our server, nyla. She was super attentive and very knowledgeable. Top notch personality. See you soon!

Today was my second time coming in for lunch, and West Broad Bandshell continues to impress! My first visit was about a month ago with my big sis (on one of our foodie
adventures), and I loved it so much I had to come back for a solo lunch date. Both times, the customer service was fantastic, the atmosphere was wonderful, and the food was absolutely amazing. It's quickly becoming one of my favorite lunch spots in Savannah (Next ill try their dinner menu.)
I Highly recommend this restaurant!
It truly pains me to write this and I do so in the hopes that my experience will be used to better train, prepare, and improve the restaurant. I had such high hopes and when I come back to Savannah, I’m happy to try again.
My sister and I are visiting Savannah from MD and walked 30 mins from our hotel in the Historic District and in pouring rain because we were so excited to come here. Only to leave after 20 mins because of how poorly organized the restaurant was.
We got here just before the 12 pm opening time and there was already a line for the Sunday feast. Once opened, it seems there was a large party, maybe unexpected but not sure. We continued to wait outside as there’s no foyer of sorts, while seating customers moved at a snail’s pace. No worries, we’d read it was small space so we were prepared.
Once inside, at 12:06 pm, I heard the hostess tell another employee there were no more menus. They said to us that they’d bring menus in a couple minutes. That turned into 15…while never again being acknowledged in any capacity during that time. By the time they dropped the menus off, we’d scheduled an Uber to take us someplace else. We hadn’t eaten all morning to make sure we had room to enjoy all of our food here and we knew that based on that 20 mins, we’d not be eating anytime soon.
I will be back to Savannah and do hope this restaurant is still here so I can try again.

I hope the owners get an opportunity to eat the fried chicken wings (8/7/26 @9:10pm) because they are so hard and rubbery. Badly executed, whoever is frying the wings in the back. I accidentally ordered crispy chicken wings without sauce, and after tasting just the plain fried wings, I can honestly say, I've had better tasting chicken in many different places for a lot less money. What's sad is that I paid $17 for only 6 winglets, no sides. I understand it's an appetizer but there was nothing I could order on the menu to go with it, unless I wanted to spend another $17. First time as a customer. 2nd time visiting. My first visit there, they ran out of food. I'm just disappointed, not likely to come back. Other than this, I think it's great that they're successful, place was packed.

My husband and I came to Savannah for a weekend getaway, and West Broad Bandshell completely exceeded every expectation. Without a doubt, it was some of the best food we’ve ever had.
We ordered just about everything we could because every dish looked amazing and every single bite delivered. The shrimp and grits were incredible, the steak was cooked perfectly, the fried chicken was crispy and flavorful, the burgers were juicy, the mac and cheese was rich and creamy, the collard greens were seasoned to perfection, the onion rings were fresh and crispy, and the red velvet cake was the perfect ending to an unforgettable meal.
What really sets this place apart is that nothing tastes mass-produced. Everything is fresh, thoughtfully crafted, and you can truly taste the love and passion behind every recipe. We learned that Chef Romie makes all of his own sauces from scratch, and even the bar mixes are homemade. Every recipe feels specially curated, and you can tell they take tremendous pride in what they serve.
We had the pleasure of meeting the owners, Chef Romie and Tanika, and they were so warm, genuine, and welcoming that they made us feel like family. Their hospitality alone is worth coming back for.
A huge shout-out to our wonderful servers, Victoria and Aubrianna, who took such great care of us throughout our visit. They were attentive, friendly, and made every meal feel special. The bartenders, Tyler and John, took the experience to another level with their custom-crafted cocktails. Their creativity and attention to detail were just as impressive as the food.
As if the food and drinks weren’t enough, they also had live music, which made the atmosphere even more enjoyable. It was the perfect soundtrack for an already amazing dining experience.
After dinner, we were invited into the Backstage Lounge, where we met cigar vendors Daryl and Thea. They were incredibly knowledgeable and welcoming. I tried a chocolate whiskey infused cigar, and it was the perfect way to end such an incredible meal. The outdoor patio is also a fantastic place to relax, enjoy a handcrafted cocktail, and smoke a cigar while soaking in the atmosphere.
Here’s the biggest compliment I can give: I’ve never gone to the same restaurant three nights in a row while on vacation… until now. That’s how exceptional this place is.
West Broad Bandshell is more than a restaurant, it’s a vibe! It’s the kind of place where amazing food, handcrafted drinks, live music, genuine hospitality, and good people all come together to create an experience you’ll never forget.
Every time we come back to Savannah, West Broad Bandshell will be our first stop. If you’re looking for unforgettable food, handcrafted drinks, live music, Southern hospitality, and an atmosphere that makes you feel like family, don’t miss this place. Five stars simply aren’t enough. We can’t wait to come back! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
