While visiting Savannah, I decided to stop by "Toast All Day"—and it was an absolute highlight of the trip.
For brunch, I tried the steak and eggs. The steak was executed brilliantly and cooked perfectly. However, the cheese eggs were unfortunately lacking flavor, and I could barely taste any cheese.
Thankfully, the fried green tomatoes completely stole the show. They were perfectly crisp, and the addition of savory pimento cheese elevated them to a whole another level.
Hats off to the bar staff as well, because every single drink we ordered was perfectly balanced. Whether you are craving a comforting Irish coffee, a sharp espresso martini, a classic old fashioned, or the refreshing Savannah Sunset rum punch, they hit the mark every time.
If you find yourself exploring Savannah, I definitely encourage everyone to stop by and experience it for yourself!
The only bad meal we had during our entire stay in Savannah. The candied bacon, which is a favorite of mine to order on menus when offered, was cold and gritty. The sausage gravy tasted like it was strait out of a food service can. The ham in the omelet was not even lukewarm. The grits were abysmal. The service was fine, maybe a little lackluster. Would have been nice to have a water refill and not having to wait so long for our check. There are so many delicious breakfast choices in Savannah, do not waste your time and money here. We ended up leaving the majority of food on our plates and ate a second breakfast at a different restaurant.
Our first experience at Toast was amazing! Thanks again Ashley! ^^ The corn beef hash, crab cake benedicts, and shecrab soup was sooooo good! The hollendaise sauce with the lemon is delicious!
We came back next week and was served by Kelsey and he was very attentive and a great server! It was a lot busier + the weekend, so the portions felt like it was half from last week, which definitely wasn't consistent.
Only complaint is that the ceaser+ranch dressings should be made in-house. They're both terrible.
We were looking forward to our breakfast at Toast all day but maybe it wasn’t a great sign that we were greeted by every staff person in the restaurant and were only one of two tables filled in a large space?! Our food was both good and not so good—(thus the 3stars) the biscuits were much dryer than I would have expected, my husband’s sausage was burnt and my decaf tasted so burnt that I had to send it back. On the other hand, my omelette was prepared nicely, the cheesy grits were delicious, my husband enjoyed his regular coffee and his eggs were cooked perfectly. Our main complaint was the aggressive overselling by our waiter that we had to get the beignets and sausage gravy for the biscuits without telling us there would be an additional charge for the gravy. Also the music was surprisingly loud at 8:30am with very few customers other than us in the restaurant at the time. Not our best breakfast experience when there are so many other great places to eat in Savannah.

Don’t trust the 4.7 rating :( I don’t do bad reviews but I have no idea how this place got such a high rating.
Our server was helpful and got to us quickly. But the 2000s millennial music was too loud to even hear anything. The food was just not good. The soup was too salty, the breakfast plate I got was disappointing. The beignets were good but not great…
I had high hopes for this place bc of the google rating, so this was a huge letdown :/ so unfortunate…
