  We were walking River Street while in Savannah this afternoon and decided to stop at the Shrimp Factory for lunch. The entire staff was great. Our server, Sarah, walked us through the menu and helped us decide on our final choice. The shrimp burger was an excellent sandwich. Connie had the peel and eat shrimp. They were amazing.

  What a wonderful experience at The Shrimp Factory! We discovered this lively restaurant while exploring Savannah and returned later in the week for dinner. The seafood was delicious, the atmosphere was fun and casual, but what truly made our evening memorable was our server, Kady! Kady was exceptional—friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely enthusiastic about the menu. She helped us navigate the seafood selections and even recommended substituting mashed potatoes for the rice with my grouper. My meal was outstanding! When we asked about local candy shops, Kady gave us a brochure about River Street Sweets, also owned by The Shrimp Factory. She spoke with such pride about both businesses we thought she might be part owner! She wasn't. We made a point of visiting before leaving Savannah. Kady is a wonderful ambassador for The Shrimp Factory! Great food, excellent service, and a welcoming atmosphere. If you're visiting Savannah, put this restaurant on your must-visit list!

  Harry at the bar was amazing! He treated us like we were special! We said we were on vacation for our anniversary. He brought our food! The hushpuppies were awesome. The crab soup was scrumptious! He then gave us a shot and said happy Anniversary! So kind. So pleasant! It was a great lunch on a rainy day! He made our day actually! Go get the food and sit at the bar!!!

  We ate at the shrimp factory on our first night in Savannah. We actually arrived early for our reservation and they accommodated us perfectly. Liz our server was friendly and had some good recommendations for ice cream in town. The food was excellent as well, we got a pot of sea food to split (idk what it was called) but at market value it was about 40 per person and I walked away feeling full. I will say the snow crab clusters were to die for. I love fresh crab! 🦀 We did try the breeze mocktail and it was not for us. But if you’re into those flavors it’s not overwhelming or anything. Over all the ambience was casual but friendly at the same time. Oh and Liz and the kitchen were FAST. I’m telling you the food came out in like 30 min or less. My husband really loved the firecracker shrimp which was not all that spicy more savory.

  Food is overpriced, not good, food didn't taste fresh....I would not recommend!! My husband and another couple visited the Shrimp Factory on Riverstreet in Savannah on Sat. Sept. 19, 2026. We ordered crab and artichoke dip and stuffed mushrooms for appetizers to share...very small portions barely enough for 2 people to share. My husband and I ordered shrimp and crab augratin for our entrees and it came out looking burnt on top. Although the menu decscribed it as having some exquisite sauce and filling, the sauce looked and tasted like cream of chicken soup. it came with 2 sides... yellow rice, which was crunchy and undercooked and broccoli which was very bland. I ate a few bites of the augratin and sent the rice and broccoli back uneaten. my husband and I bill was $81.00, and I left the restaurant feeling cheated and stupid for eating there. Spankys next door had a 30 minute wait for a table. we should have waited..... there was no wait at Shrimp Factory... now I know why. I will never eat there again.
