    ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Without question, one of the best dining experiences we’ve had in Savannah! Sisters of the New South exceeded every expectation. The food was absolutely outstanding, from the quality and preparation to the incredible flavor of every dish. I ordered the fried pork chops, which were perfectly crispy on the outside, thick, tender, and incredibly juicy on the inside. The green lima beans were seasoned beautifully, and the Southern-style baked macaroni and cheese was exceptional. My husband ordered the smothered pork chops and was equally impressed. Every single item we tried was delicious. What made the experience even better was the outstanding customer service. The staff was welcoming, friendly, and attentive, making us feel genuinely appreciated as customers. It’s rare to find a restaurant where the food and service are both this exceptional. Sisters of the New South has easily earned the number one spot on our list of favorite restaurants in Savannah. If you’re looking for authentic Southern cooking prepared with care and full of flavor, this is the place. We will absolutely be back!

    Hadn’t tried sisters in at least 3 years, still not good and not worth checking out. Ordered a variety of food: pork chops, oxtails, turkey wings, salisbury steak. Pork chops were cooked well and the seasoning would have been good if they weren’t completely drenched in gravy to the point they were soggy. Oxtails were actually the only item that was delicious. Turkey wings were just ok. Salisbury steak had good gravy. Overall the proteins were decent but the pork chops left much to be desired. Sides: mac n cheese, butter beans, okra and tomatoes, green beans, and collard greens. I’m gonna start with the mac n cheese, this is a staple and it was greasy noodles with a cheese taste. There was a weird flavor like it was used cooking oil instead of butter too. I was really expecting this to be the best item on the plate but sadly it was not. The butter beans tasted like they were canned and sitting on a warmer all day. The okra and tomatoes started out good but have a weird sweet under taste and a seasoning that didn’t pair well. The green beans also tasted canned. The collard greens have a disgusting cool aide flavor that rendered them completely inedible. Desserts: pecan pie and sweet potato pie. Both desserts were good Overall the impression wasn’t great and I won’t be back. Honestly Savannah hasn’t had good soul food since Ma Randy’s closed. I was really expecting and hoping the food would be better as the bill was around $60 before tip. There are far better restaurants that would truly give you a great meal for the same amount of money.

    This place should be shut down. I just left there after purchasing lunch special. The manager was very rude and the food is atrocious. I give them 1 star only because the Mac and cheese was fresh but still unseasoned so called soup food. Definitely won't be returning.

    Went to this place over the labor weekend and the food did not disappoint! The baked and fried chicken were delicious. The greens and Mac and Cheese were amazing. And so was that sweet potato pie. I would also like to compliment the 2 young ladies that served my friends and I. Their names were Keyanna and Liyah at the Abercorm location.

    Our first time in Savannah and I was looking for some southern food. Saw this place suggested and was hesitant but it was the best food I’ve had from a restaurant in a very long time. The Mac and cheese was amazing. The tea and lemonade was great too. Definitely felt like genuine southern home cooking! Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for good southern cooking. The staff and owner were extremely nice and attentive.
