    If I could for zero stars I would. First, to get anyone real on the phone is hard enough, but they have AI take your takeout order. It’s most definitely not up to date because two items we ordered weren’t available when we went to pick it up. They promised they were refunded. They were not. Then when we did get our order, which our mistake we trusted them it was correct, it wasn’t. All the sides were either wrong or missing entirely. The pork was inedible. I called and left a message with the AI, then called back to finally get a gentleman on the line. I explained and asked for a refund because we simply couldn’t eat anything. He seemed genuinely apologetic at the time, but we never got refunded. I’ve been trying to get back in touch with them to no avail because we spent a lot of money. It was also a dirty place. Should’ve been our first sign. Be careful with this place. They’ll steal your money.

    Wow, everything over cooked. Dry chicken, watery mashed potatoes, super tough liver, dry Mac n cheese and all were cold. Even the tea was so weak I think they forgot the teabag. Definitely disappointed 😞 only redeeming item was rge gravy

    The building was underwhelming but the food was AMAZING! The best food we had during our entire trip to Savannah! We would've eaten here more than once if we hadn't found this on our last day. The oxtails were delicious. The greens were some of the best I've ever had.

    I came to this restaurant because I saw it featured on the food network. I was a bit disappointed. The Mac and cheese was dry, the yams were still hard and needed a bit more flavor (cinnamon, or nutmeg) and the cornbread was dense. The smothered turkey wings and cabbage were great. Overall it was a 3. Disappointed that both locations didn't carry the soul rolls. The Abercorn location had no clue what we were asking about. The service was nice. Definitely southern hospitality.
