  If you’re walking River Street in Savannah and need a sweet escape from the Georgia heat, make sure you stop by River Street Sweets. The second you walk in, the smell of fresh pralines, caramel, and chocolate hits you like a warm Southern hug. Watching them make candy right in front of you adds to the whole experience, and the free praline samples should honestly be considered a public service. Their homemade ice cream is perfect on a hot day, and the pralines are absolutely worth the hype. Everything tastes fresh, rich, and dangerously addictive. The staff was super friendly and welcoming, which made the visit even better. It’s one of those classic Savannah spots that feels nostalgic and fun at the same time. Whether you’re cooling off with ice cream or grabbing sweets to take home, this place is a must-stop on River Street. Savannah without River Street Sweets just wouldn’t feel right.

  Delicious snacks and candy’s with a plethora of homemade fudges, chocolates, apples, Rice Krispies, and marshmallows. Thank goodness we were on limited time because my wallet would’ve taken a hit. Service was friendly

  The pecan praline is amazing! They don't give you a chance, they offer samples as you come in the door. At that point, you're just asking "Where do I find these in the store?" They are happy to show you the way! Great company!

  Don't ever go into this location. You will hate yourself when you step on the scale the next couple of days. Wow what a selection and amazing staff that was very friendly and helpful.
