  Five-Star Wedding Review Latin Chicks and Mint to Be Mojito completely knocked it out of the park for a 50-guest wedding I hosted this past weekend. And the incredible thing is that I only had 12 days’ notice to plan the event! First off, Astrid was my point of contact, and she was the best. She was professional, friendly, and super helpful. She made planning a breeze. Her communication was perfect, and she was one of the staff members on site to handle the event. You can tell this isn’t just a job for her. She exudes joy and truly cares about providing top-notch service. The catering from Latin Chicks was absolutely spectacular. The guests are still raving about the food! The Ropa Vieja and pork were incredibly flavorful, tender, and perfectly seasoned. Pairing them with classic white rice, rich black beans, and perfectly sweet plantains created the ultimate crowd-pleasing menu. To top it off, the appetizers were an absolute hit—the tequeños, chicken empanaditas, and pork empanaditas disappeared almost instantly during cocktail hour. To complement the amazing food, Mint to Be Mojito (sister location to Latin Chicks) provided phenomenal bartending services. The mojitos are made from scratch, not a mix. We had classic, coconut, and my favorite, passion fruit mojitos. Newlyweds loved the coconut mojitos. They kept the energy high, the drinks flowing, and the service immaculate throughout the entire night. At the end of the evening, they let us know they had packaged up the leftovers, so I was able to give the food to the newlyweds to take home. And they helped to clean up the event site. If you want delicious, authentic food and top-tier bar service that your guests will talk about long after the reception ends, hire this incredible team!

  This place is awesome. The food was delicious. Even my picky eating daughters loved it. We had the chicken and it was well made. The churros were exquisite. A must comeback when we return to Savannah.

  Latin Chicks Catering exceeded all of our expectations! They catered our vow renewal, and everything was absolutely incredible. Our guests couldn’t stop talking about how delicious the food was—they all raved about it throughout the evening! The staff was professional, friendly, and so helpful from start to finish, making everything run smoothly. A special thank you to Astrid Diaz, who was an absolute pleasure to work with. She was responsive, organized, and made communication easy throughout the entire planning process, which gave us so much peace of mind. If you’re looking for amazing food and exceptional service for your event, I can’t recommend Latin Chicks Catering enough. They played a big part in making our special day unforgettable, and we would absolutely use them again!

  Second time ordering from Latin Chicks, and the second time my order was incomplete. At this point, it feels less like an accident and more like a serious failure in how orders are handled. I was charged over $35 for items that I never received, which meant I did not have enough food to feed my family. The most frustrating part is that there was no automatic refund or immediate correction. I had to chase down my own money, submit a refund request, and now wait 3–10 business days to get reimbursed for food I never received. Customers should not have to fight to get their money back for a restaurant’s mistake and incompetence. Other restaurants on Uber Eats simply mark items unavailable when they cannot fulfill an order. That prevents customers from paying for food that will never show up. Whether this is poor management, lack of attention, or a broken process, the result is the same: the customer pays the price. The bigger issue is the entire Uber Eats pricing structure. Between inflated menu prices, delivery fees, service charges, and other added costs, customers end up paying far more than the actual restaurant price. The “discounts,” promotions, and incentives are misleading when the final total is still significantly higher because the base prices and fees have already been increased. A coupon is not much of a deal when you are paying extra everywhere else. After paying premium prices and multiple fees, the bare minimum expectation is receiving the food you actually ordered. Latin Chicks’ food is overpriced for what you get, the service experience has been unacceptable, and Uber Eats’ fees make the disappointment even more expensive and unacceptable. I won’t order from Latin Chicks again, and I’m done paying excessive Uber Eats hidden food markups and delivery fees. There are too many other restaurants and delivery options that actually value their customers. Order at your own risk.
